Thanks girl... She had 2 surgeries already. Apparently one of the main atreries into the heart was completely clotted, and they put a shunt in and it's open and flowing again, so we'll see how she does over the weekend. My mom said she is doing well right now though...

Glad you get a night out Red! You must be suuuper exited!!!
Wow, sorry to hear about your grams!! Hope she improves and has a full recovery!!
There's nothing better than a grandma. I've only got one left, and she lives in MI. I only get to see her once or twice a year when I drive there.
I call my husband's grandma "Gram", but it's not the same as your own blood relative.

You are very right! These are my last living grandparents so it's hard to deal with too. My grandma on my mom's side died when I was four and my grandfather died last summer, but I hadn't seen him since I was nine(long story) So my grandparents on my dad's side have always been around. They even moved from Wisconsin to New Mexico to be closer to me and my brother cuz we are the youngest grandkids. So yesterday was a scary day, but it seems like she's ok now, thank god!!

Thanks... I finally got to talk to her a few minutes ago, and she is hooked up to a heart monitor and is on medication to lower her cholesterol. When they put the shunt in they broke a vein and the cholesteral that was in there broke out into some other veins so they are watching her pretty carefully right now. She just wants to go home of course, and she is pretty worn out. But her spirits are starting to lift, and my aunt who is a nurse is flying out tomorrow so they may let her go home with a heart monitor and have my aunt take care of her from home, so that will be nice for her

Thanks She seems to be doing a little better. I couldn't get a hold of anyone yesterday, so I'm thinking that she might have gotten to go home! I sure hope so!

lol that doesn't surprise me. Seems like the show takes so little time and the rest of the time is spent partying anyways... Only makes sense.

Re: We Need to Get Him Off A Bike ... Forever

There's a restaurant here in Madison... Porta bella (which if u ever come to madison.. GO THERE... and get a Garibaldi with porta salad-.. you can get that and a soda for less that 12 dollars and its a fancy schmancy looking place)

Their porta salads are just...my favorite thing ever.. I crave it constantly.. and its just Romaine and iceburg lettuce, crumbled cheese, garbanzo beans (which I dont even like on anything but that) and salami... Their ranch just rocks.

and theyre heaping bowls of it.. so sometimes u can eat the salad and bring the sandwhich home haha...

mmm and they serve sourdough and garlic bread with an red chili pepper/garlic infused olive oil...

oh man.

i cant stop talking about them now.. i want porta bella! damnit.

P.S. their tiramisu is awesome too haha

Oh man.
