why should children be protected simply because they're children? Obviously, nobody is gonna retaliate to a 6th grader...but If some little punk came up to me and tried starting ****, I wouldn't care how old he was. They don't remember when your parents wanted the neighbor to smack you fo doing something stupid if they saw it first and then they marched you home for the double whoopin. Once for doing whatever you did and a second time for embarassing the family in front of the neighbor. Now it's all my kid is perfect he can't do anything wrong and if he does it's because we didn't love him enough!!

I got a buddy who is a high school teacher and he told me he won't even break up a fight now, instead he has to have the on staff cop come by to break it up...the school is fearful of potential liability risks from breaking up a fight...crazy
