I've been working with Aaron from Racing 905 about doing a stunt competition in 2005 in Southern California.

We think we have all the pieces to put together something big out here.

My question is when is the best time to have one so people can travel to Los Angeles?

Jan-March?
April-June?
Aug-Sept?
Oct-Dec?

July, Moto GP is coming to Laguna Seca. Everyone will but there for that (including me).

We have perfect weather out here with the exception of Jan-March where it could rain.

The plan is to have a practice day on Friday, Competition on Sat and HUGE party on Sat night.

so is this a team only event or are you goin to alow single entrys? :D

 

The team event was a nice twist at WBBF (Stunt comp put on by JT Holt 2 years ago).

Everything is open at this point.

 

ill keep my fingers crossed you guys let single entry's in.....would be hella fun to stunt for a comp

 

If it's too late into summer it can be hot as h***. I definitely think after april.

 

I wonder how many riders you'd pull from the East Coast and Midwest? Really depends on what time of year it is. I know a lot of the riders this way will be hitting up stuntwars, so it might take a few months before anyone can afford/or get time off to travel to the west coast.

the last WBBF event was at irwindale speedway and that place gets hot as **** during june through september...plus LA is a bitch with traffic. Where were you planning on hosting it? California Speedway has perfect spots if you could get it there..but its also gunna be hot...but its just soooo much pavment its a stunter heaven.

 

LA traffic sucks. Period. Nothing we can do about that.

CA SPeedway would be perfect, but is expensive. Irwindale is more affordable and has a huge parking lot as well. But CA speedway is hot in the summer as well. Maybe a late summer/early fall date would work. It'll be cold everywhere else, but in the 80s here.

 

if everyone rode bikes there'd be no traffic and alot less stupid people alive...

irwindale sucks as a track though. the strip is slick n grooved.. no bar tricks.. and i wont even dare an endo on that crap. if you insist on irwindale please make the comp take place in the parkin lot and not the track!!! either way ill be there...

I have to be in San Diego in August for a Family Reunion so my vote is to have it around then. That way I only have to pay for one trip.
