Re: interest in upper fairing cage?

Hey I was told that the mirror stay bracket for a 900rr will fit on a 929---has anybody tried this yet? I've seen pics of the bracket and it looks like it would fit on a 929 with a bit of modification.....

I have to cut a couple more pieces then have you tack them together. Mine will be designed around a Scott/Ohlins dampner design and after the fall that pushed in my upper some this past weekend I am going to really try and get this thing rollin.
you have all the good ideas my friend!!!!!!!!!!

If you are still riding that 900rr in your avatar then you should already have a factory fairing stay, why would you need one of those ?

Re: interest in upper fairing cage?

here are some gixxer 6 pics..... mine will be braced from the fairing mount straight up for more resistance if it goes over on to the fairing from a stoppie. mounts to where the mirrors would be. middle brackets to reinforce the impact. the top will be 2 or 3 different pieces, not bent, (more strength). going across the windshield. mine is cut down about 4-5 inches.
