My first bike was a zx-7r. I bought the sport bike because all i wanted to do was stunt. BOOOOY WAS I WRONG! I hate that damn brand. Just because a sucker like me bought it only to find out that it sucked for stunting. I really wish somebody else was stunting here before i was, so that they could tell me that the bike was garbage. lol

hell,my friends are already scavenging!i have to tell them.....its evidence player,recognise!

 

i owned one also-that is a drag bike-sucks for stunt or wheelie.i very disappointed with the brand and wont own another.even though i have owned many.ill go with GSXR OR HONDA next.my 04 cbr1000rr was stolen a few weeks ago.....damn the luck,anyway ill have another soon.wont be brand new but i havent had good luck with the new model bikes!not tough enough!!like what you ride!!

you are right!simple fact is,they cut too much weight and the frame of the bike will not hold up to stunting....period.you will see more of this in the future with these bikes.i was hard on mine.it will take awhile before you see other break..but they will.i already broke 2 zx10r frames before this wreck!now that i can see inside the frame(now that its broke),you can see it is very thin!!!!

Sup, im one of jasons friends. and let me tell you. after seeing the bike in person. makes me never wanna ride a kaw much less let anyone i know ride one. the frame is like a credit card thick, and is held together by plastic. Im just glad he isnt dead, helmet saved his life. so comon guys, help a brother out and buy a pipe or something from him, we all know long it takes the insurance company to get up off there *** and send some paychecks.

No matter what you ride, wear a damn helmet.

 

glad your ok, all the kawi frames crack about 6 to 8 inches back from the neck, plated mine right away havent had a problem. my first zx6r snapped in half though...

 

after reading all these posts and seeing all this happen, honestly i dont care what anyone says i will never ride or own a zx anything. the design of the bike is flawed in too many ways. i think anyone that has one should look for a new bike due to it being a major safty hazard.

HEY!THANKS!!FOR SOME REASON THE OLDER ONES ARE ALOT STRONGER.I HAVENT HEARD OF ANY FRAME PROBLEMS WITH THE 6'S.I KNOW MY 2002 ZX9R FRAME WAS VERY STRONG,BUT ALOT HEVIER OF A BIKE.I KNOW THE 10R FRAME SUCKS.NOW IT MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT THE 2003-2004 ZX6R AND 636R.WHAT DO YOU THINK??

Hey man sorry to hear about your bike. I had a zx10 also i ended up stoppying into the back of an explorer that changed lanes into me bike was recked bad but the frame came out just fine i hit him doing 35-40 it sucked . i think the fram broke more cuz of the truck hitting it not just stunting unless you are slamming down your wheelies. sorry to hear about it hope you are doing well.
