Talking 900rr or 929rr

I know topics like this has been posted in the past, but I can't find them all. I know alot of you guys have been on both bikes so give me some pro/cons. Is the fuel injection worth having over the solidity(is that a word) of the 900? etc..

I never had a 900, but I love fuel injection, no hassles, throttle response is awesome.

Has anybody ever heard that the case and swing arm joint is prone to break even in light crashes? Thats really the only worries I may have with the 929.

rr

I ride both 98-99/900 and 00 /929 It depends on what kind of riding you want to do the 900 s seem to turn and endo easier for me but the 929 is faster and i can wheelie it farther but in the turns the on off throttle response is real twitchy. If you are a big guy (6'3 305 ) go with the 900 it is much more comfortable.Hope this helped

I had a 00 929 and rolled it back at 100 mph it demolished the rear wheel but never had a problem with the swingarm joint.

Sounds like everybody prefers the 929. I'm only 5'7 and change so comfort factor might work out for me:D I actually don't care if its comfortable or not because its gonna be a full time stuntbike. I just wanted to make sure that the 929 is the prefered bike for stunting before a drop some cash on one. Keep the advice coming, I need all I can get:p

900rr is indestructable, but if I were to get one I'd probably have to go with the 929 :D Either way, I'm broke so it ain't happening.

OR.. you could just stunt the **** outta your R1 :D

well if u plan on doin long azz wheelies tha 9oo has a problem before 97 ---its has no baffle in tha oil pan so all tha oil goes in tha bak of da pan and its scortched crank bearing time!!!! so get a 97 or a oil pan for a 97 then put it on your 96 and down its worth it!!
