hey callin all real true stunters

hey guys, what up? sorry if i write a novel here. i'm writing a semester paper on the up and coming "sport" of urban freestyle riding. its due in december. i want anyones ideas, help and experience to help me with maybe some angles on writing this paper. i am almost to the edge of not writing it about this subject, but i want to get this sport as far as it will go, just like all the true pros and stunters. i need true and factuall resources....ie. such as this forum, true life on mtv, drew stones films etc. any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. i'll prolly post some polls from time to time to see what everyone thinks on different stunt topics. any help again will be cited and whoever helps me out will be thanked...i'll post it up when im done.......

thanks alot

Re: hey callin all real true stunters

there was a good article in the last issue of super streetbike about the origins of stuntriding around the end of wwI or wwII...check it out, i'm sure it would be helpful for a good base from what our modern stunting has evolved from....

i'm with you. i want to be a part of the evolution of the sport. it's a very good topic for a paper. i would talk about how other extreme sports evolved such as freestyle motocross and bmx stunting. motocross pretty much went through the same **** stunters are currently going through: they tore up their local tracks against the operators will until finally they took it into their own hands and started doin' their thing on their own land; filmin' their own videos, thereby progressing as stunt riders. heard of crusty demons of dirt? of course you have. one of the primitive fmx videos shot over 10 years ago, and look at 'em now. these videos were then discovered...ma and pa competitions were started, major corporations like vans shoes caught on, and voa-la. it's in the x-games and fmx is a multi-million dollar sport, not to mention the most watched discipline in the x-games. you can take bits and pieces of extreme sports evolution and apply them towards our current stage in evolution.
