streetbike vs. motard BP

Considering to buymyself a motard, I took my friends Husaberg FS 650E on a ride. I noticed that when riding in BP I ride somewhat lower than on streetbike. Is it BP lower for motards or it's just some weird feeling cuz it was first motard I ever rode?

Also does someone stunt 2-stroke motards? I know they have unlinear power delivery and aren't smooth. If I buy one it'll be 2-stroke (reason: $$$) so experiences plz...

Also does anyone know can cage be mounted on motard? I presume there are no such to buy but I could make one... I looked on friends Husaberg but I didn't see any appropriate holes/mounts for cage???

Try making somekind of cage of your own for the bike, if possible. Don't know about the BP thing since i don't have any experience of them but I do know that on motards endos roll longer when having the rear at the same height as with a sportbike doin an endo

You dont really need a cage.. the handle bars and pegs stick out alot further then the engine. Notice that no pro/am motocrossers have cages. I raced harescrambles for a couple years competatively (anyone will tell you that beats you and the bike up REAL good) and never once had a problem. I would suggest maybe using Bark Busters on the handle bars if you are gonna street ride it. That way you wont tear up grips if/when you fall.

BP on dirtbikes is lower, they weigh less and your body is a more effective counter weight.

BTW, there is a Motard forum now! Check it out.

That's what I was thinking, but I wanted someone that knew to say it
