He is big enough to start on whatever bike he wants, my first streetbike ever was a 900rr and I had no problems with the controlling the bike at all.

How do you know EXACTLY how big he is? Is he a lanky kid with not much upper body strength ? There IS a very significant difference from a 250 to a 900. Is he big enough to handle a 900, or has he tried stunting on his brother's f4 ?

having a good background in mx bikes will help.. sure I think he is. just remind him to respect the bike and the enviroment cause falling off a dirt bike hurts alot less then hitting the pavement at any speed! :YEAH

Hes about 5'9 has alot of leg and upper body strength he's been playing football and riding since he was 10.He has ridden my f4 and my cousins 929 and feels more comfortable on the 929 but im not sure if its gonna be cost effective cause of insurance and cost of bike.

yeah he's ready. just make sure he's responsible enough. my little cousin is 16, and he just started stunting. Just make sure he wears a helment, gloves, jeans, and a jacket. It has made the difference between getting up and going to the hostpital for me.
