Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

Last year at the SL Stunt Stunt the guys that got their bikes stolen got lucky because the cops found like 5 of the bikes that got stolen at a local Hotel (weird, hey). I was pissed because at least two of the bikes got stolen not 15 feet in front of a vender booth that was manned all day. Seemed weird that they wouldn't of noticed someone putzing around with several of the bikes. The vendor didn't see anything unusual of course.

Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

This is such bullshit U should be able to leave Your key in your bike no matter what and not have to worry about it being stolen, but there are some ******** out there that forgot that U have to pay for **** and theres a reason why they dont have **** like that. This pisses me off back in the day when I had a nice bike, I cant count on both hand how many times I walked in a store or work even school one time left my fukin key in the bitch lucky I didnt get my **** jacked. Sorry bout your boy that really suxs never had full coverage on my bike couldn't aford it. Post some pic of the bike up that bitch will show up some where.

Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

Everyone needs to get in the habit of locking their wheel, it only takes another half turn of the key

good idea, but here is the problem with that, alot of stunters with legit bikes, either dont register them cause they trailer them to events and practice, or have salvage titles and the bikes wont pass inspections so they cant be registered, hell mine is registered, but i gurentee it wouldnt pass the state inspection.

you know if every stunter all around the world just stopped riding with **** who steal bikes and ones who give stunting bad image it might help .
me i will not ride with any one does drugs or drinks . so im not around the ones who will steal stuff . we just have fun stunting and dont go around trying to cause trouble . people around here like us and dont care if we stunt.
its cause of our way we act like cool people not but heads . plus if i stunt in spots i make sure im not going to **** any one off . so i dont get cops called on me . cause i want to stunt not get tickets or go to jail so im just think about the other person and store owners so that every ones happy no problems .

You know your part of the problem right?????

Are you saying riders who drink and smoke are the ones stealing the bikes??? OMFG, if thats not the biggest bullshit i've hear'd yet(and I left this sight for like 5 months). If your saying that then EVERYONE ON THE ****ING sight has stolen a bike then. I dont drink or smoke, but I have, which places me in that catagory.

I bet your in the same catagory aswell. Idiots who think and act like you are also one of "MANY" reasons why THIS sport. SPORT! Will never take off the way it should/woulda have already. When F***ers with "NO COMMEN SINCE" open there mouth. Things are bound to happen and they do. It just sucks when it happens and sucks even more when it happenes to you, but when your stupid about it, and know its a problem with events like this c'mon "WHO's'" to blame?

Them? For having the though in there head??? yes!
Him? For not taking protecton when its there??? yes!

But everything is a learning experience and I bet hes learn his lesson hasn't he?

i aint gonna lie, i smoke weed(never when im gonna ride) but i luvs da blunt....gets me motivated after a hard day of practicing when 3 out of the 5 guys in the group now need there **** back on the road cause we were all pushing hard that day, hell with out weed my boys would be ****ed, im the only one in the crew that still smokes, but if i didnt there **** would never get fixed. give me a bowl and a yard full of broken bikes and its on, no weed, maybe ill get to one of them... but i have never stolen anything from anybody. it comes down to understanding how hard the person worked for what she or he has. i mean alot of stunters talk **** about the bling bling bikes, but most of those guys work just as hard to buy then customize there **** as we do to replace broken parts on our crunchy peices of **** so we can stunt the next day. bottom line is respect, and the people or person who stole the bikes at the comp. has none.

Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

Its not a suprise that it happens...import cars and street racing have started to go pretty mainstream and there is still madd stolen **** all over the place. Around where i live sum kid got his engine jacked, 1 or 2 days after a car show, the dudes checked it out at the show, followed him home then waited a little. ***** stupid but it happens. Im sure if they asked there would be a good amount of volunteers for security.

Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

Don't matter what it is, everything can get stolen, bikes included. I lost my brand new ZX9R tricked out back in '99. Took 4 years to recover financialy and same thing happen to my boy Will last Christmass. Always ride with a buddy AND u-LOCK THE FUKIN' FORKS TO EACHOTHER . Unless you've got a blue wrench in your back pocket, or a forklift, you ain't steelin' this bike!!!

Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

Plain and simple bikes get stolen every where i think i live in the stolen bike capital of the world Miami you leave your bike out of sight for 30 sec it's gone even with a lock all it takes is 3 guys and a truck and it is gone it is very sad that people need to steal when people work so hard to get things they love this day and age people just have no respect for other peoples things the way these kids are brought up today makes me sick. It also makes me sad that i have to live with my 2 bikes inside my house because these people down here will get into your garage and steal it while you sleep so every morning i wake up i am eating breakfest next to a fiddy and a 750 last thing i want is to smell gas when i am eating. And people wonder why bike insurance is so much money because of these little A-holes get a job and work for your ****.

dont think that bikes being stolen has an effect on attendance.......i mean when bike week happens in florida massive amounts of bikes dissappear.......doesnt ever seem to *** with attendance though.............

reckles, i know the bike is gone by now, stripped parted and prob. sold on e-bay, figured it was worth a shot.....
d-unit, i agree with you to a point, but bike week is huge, this is a small town event thats just starting out in a community that doesnt know much about this sport yet, it could have an effect...

Re: stolen bikes from stunt life comp....

Sorry to say but from a spectators point of veiw after last year I heard of all the bikes that got stolen, I took my car. Came for one day and wouldn't trust leaving anything outta my sight. Hate to say it but with stunters wrecking bikes as much as they do I wouldn't be surprised to see the guys heisting the bikes are stunters themselves. Its really a sad thing to work hard to get a bike only to have some punk take it. Pisses me off and yes you probably guessed it I had a bike stolen....
