WAY off Topic, Need To Rant......MAJOR EX-WIFE ISSUES Well....Here's the story....
As some of you know, I was UNemployed for an extended period of time(4 months...damn computer field!!!), at which time I fell quite a bit behind in my Child Support....
Well, the wonderful ex-wife (who makes WELL OVER 20.00 bucks an hr. as a nurse) hired an attorney and took me to court last Friday...
Well they did a "Title Search" and found that I owned my GSXR...
The judge told me to TURN IT OVER to her attorney so she could sell it!!!
Well, I told the judge that I owed 2500.00 on the bike and that I had to make sure that it was PAID OFF...they told me to either SELL THE BIKE IN 30 DAYS for no less than 5,000.00, pay it off, and the EX gets the rest!!!! If not, he will put me in jail on a 2500.00 purge!!!! So basically I was forced to sign the papers and agree to their terms.....
NOW the F'ed up part...
This all comes AFTER I get hired at Gateway Computers in Sarasota making VERY GOOD $$$$$$.....She drug me BACK to court AFTER I had secured the job with them!!! Forcing me to alreday have to explain to my employer that I need to have 2 days off to go to court....LUCKILY, I have a very cool boss who has been through this exact same thing. I explained to the judge that I was working FULLTIME and making very good $$$ and that I found it rediculous that I had to miss 2 days of work for this, when all they had to do was take EXTRA money out to catch me up....The judge told me that I had better plan on taking more than just a couple of days off...meaning he wanted to put me in JAIL!!!!!
Now...If was a father who never spent time with his kids, NEVER paid support, etc..I could MORE than understand the harsh treatment...BUT...I spend EVERY weekend in some form with my kids...go to all the functions, sporting events, buy school clothes, EVERYTHING a good father should do....this is just FUCKED UP!!!!
So basically I have 2 options here...
1) Sell the bike for 5000.00 and pay the EX off....
2) Find someone to loan me 2500.00, sign the title over to them, pay them off, AND NEVER put the bike back in my name....
Like I said in the beginning....I'm sooooo screwed!!!!

Sounds pretty shitty man. Unfortunately you are screwed, but heres what I'd do.....
Sell the bike, pay her off. The Judge is just being a dick becuase all he sees is dead-beat dads all day long so thats what he thinks you are. After you get things stabilized again financially, go out and buy a brand new Gsxr 1000 and thank her for doing what she did becuase you LOVE your new bike!!!!

I think you need a new lawyer!!! I studied law and your attorney is not doing any good for you. IF you didn't have a job, there is not much you can do about it. When you were divorced and the papers were drawn for Child Support, you were to take a percentage out of a paycheck to pay for your children. When you are unemployed but can prove that you were not just being a dead beat, you were actually looking for a job, you should have some ground to stand on. What about unemployment? Did you get any of that? I am sure that your attorney could argue that your Bitch of an Ex wife makes MORE than enough to support the kids and give you some option of paying it back!! Is she currently living with a significant other?? What a bitch! I am sorry I could see if you were a dead beat dad, but from what you say your not.... The ending of your relationship had to have been horrible for her to have this much resentment! **** her, get a lawyer and fight her! She makes more than enough and to give up your personal possessions is absurd!

You definately need a new lawyer!! I could go on and on about all the **** I went through with my son, but to make a long story short, I found a good lawyer who specializes in Father's Rights and now I have full custody!! Don't give up, it could take years and lots of money to get things solved, but our kids are worth every bit of time and money spent!:D Good luck!

i got two lawyers u would realy like to kno 1)john zwerling out of d.c. judges kno u want to win when u sho up with him !!!!!!!2) jon knor is a great criminal lawyer look them up u win every time lawyer number 1 was also laraina bobbits lawyer u know the chick that cut of dudes man hood yea she won !!!!!!!
