Friday, as in tomorrow? I just picked up the 900rr, not really for sale, unless you make an offer I can't refuse. There's a few shops, nothing really worth looking at. I mean, I've got a buddy at one, that's where I buy stuff, but even his boss is a total dick. The bike market is pretty lame here right now, normally I have my bikes shipped, or I take a road trip to go get them. I can look around for you, and let you know if I come up with anything. There is a speed limit in Montana, it use to be "Reasonable and Prudent" but that was changed before I moved here. Now it's 70-75 anywhere out of town. The cops aren't too bad, you just can't ride with your head stuck in your ***. Shoot me an email, and we can talk more

I wish I could of lived up there up until a few years ago......having relatives in Montana I've asked them about this before. They were the last state to have no posted daytime limits on Hiways and Interstates. In theory there was no speed limit except for at night. I was told a cop would pull you over if he thought your speed was not considered reasonable under certain conditions such as heavy traffic, bad road conditions, etc. Unfortuately my uncle isn't the type to drive fast but did ask a trooper what he considered a safe speed in good conditions on interstates. He said he would stop anyone going over 100mph. Wo knows... I'm sure a few people pushed the limits up there. Unfortunatly the fun ended a few years ago when the state did impose daytime speed lmits on all roads.
lame

Yeah, it would've been pretty cool. Even now, I've never been pulled over for anything less than 85 on the freeways. But it's so natural to go fast, when you have open stretches of road, and not another town for fifty miles, you just got to go fast. For a while, after they imposed the speed limit, there was only a $5 ticket that could be paid on the spot for a speeding ticket, it was pretty much a joke to get around the new law. I've met a few old geisers telling me stories about just flying through MT with a stack of $5 bills in the glove compartment. It's a pretty cool place for the most part. Great scenery, great recreation options, beautiful women (very surprising ) pretty damn good nightlife for such a small town. But horribly low wages plague the whole state, pretty high cost of living for such low income, but there's a bar that has a deal: a burger and a beer for a buck (you can't go wrong, not to mention the two t-bones for $2 on tuesday). Overall, it's pretty cool for such a small town. Shitty snow this year, and only about a month of decent weather this summer, so it's been a shitty year (bummer cause I'm moving to Orlando next fall, so I was hoping for a good last winter here). But hardly any bikes, there just isn't a great market for it because of the weather and low income. But come on over, you'll have a good time. Shoot me an email
