Hey Curt, Question

Do you have a close up pic of your handlebar setup? I'd like to go to dirtbike bars but don't want to give up my upper. How much of the upper do you have to trim? Did you buy a triple or just drill the stock one? Thanks.

Re: Hey Curt, Question

That's a good pic to see what gets trimmed...you can gauge it by the mirror locations.
I'll post a few pics when I get home tonight of the bar mounts/setup. Be warned..my camera sux..bad.
The mounts are available through Tim @ Freestyle Ingenuity. They are not listed on the site though. I've ridden and crashed with them...they work!

Re: Hey Curt, Question

Thanks man. How do the clamps attach to the triple? Are they just drilled through? What is the second brake reservoir for? Do you need longer brake and clutch cables? Sorry for all the questions.

Re: Hey Curt, Question

Drill through the triple and bolt from the bottom. The triple has to be removed.
You can get away with the stock clutch cable (+2" would be better). The throttle cables will work with a little rerouting. I think you need +8" brake lines also.
