Lets see.....

The census has the US @ almost 300 Million people.

http://www.census.gov/main/www/popclock.html

A conservative 1% of that would equal 3 Million motorcycle ryders.

Four major Japanese (popular) models to choose from (Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawi)

Honda being the most popular, lets say 800 thousand have purchased.

The 954 is a very popular model.

Corbin is one of the best, if not THE best in the industry.

Summary

A kid I ryde with has the exact bike, with the carbon Devil high mount exhaust.

Go figure..... Play the lotto.

Re: Calling Out DLISH (You have my stolen bike)

stolen bikes have the vin's grinded off probably within 10 minutes of being stolen. If that's the case then a simple picture of the bikes frame would show that it wasn't grinded and if it wasn't you could see the VIN number. On this black framed bike that would be easy to spot.

also, the rim thing, i noticed he said there is jbweld on the inside of the rims. what is the chances that someone had all that stuff the same, AND had rims with jb weld on the inside.....5 minutes and popping a tires bead would show.

either way, it's easy to clear this up by checking the bike. that would clear names and confusion.

Exactly. If the VIN is gone, that is very suspect.

Lets run by his house, cut off his tyres and convict !

Except that calling someone something derogatory (such as thief) in public (expecially in written form) is Libel or Slander, which is an issue in itself. Great job! This is why LP personnel at Best Buy can't yell "stop thief!" if they see someone stuffing CDs in their coat, etc....

Re: Calling Out DLISH (You have my stolen bike)

Why doesn't D'lish respond to this.....It doesn't matter who hs the property. It still was stolen.I had a brand new off the floor 95 900rr ..stolen 3 weeks after I got it.I couldn't afford the insurance the first month I had it.I GOT FUKUD HARD.Let me find the SOB that took it.... That was NINE years ago...still got the keys and title....

I would at least get to the bottom of this........I would bust someones ***** if they accused me of stealing someones bike...BUT if I where in Dlish's shoes and knew I was on the "up and up" I would easily go outta my way to prove this wasn't his bike........very simple. If I knew the bike was "hot" I would ignore this like the plague....and refuse to help with many excuses.

This should be interesting....if memory serves me correct Dlish does sell some bikes on here right?......I'd wanna clear this fast.

Did 95% of you not read this statement...the bike in that picture is no longers in D's possession....hello McFly!

What happened...happened. Not saying it is right, but don't take 8 months to air dirty laundry. I must admit, if I were in your shoes I would probably without doubt be pointing fingers at Dlish. It's not everyday someday tells you the name of the person that has your bike. Then to see a picture of that accused person on it with the EXACT same stuff, damage, etc riding it around would pretty much close the case for me. Alot of people are backing him up because their friends with him, yet with the evidence provided it is pretty much a solved case.

As of right now it is in the past and NOTHING can be done about it except deface a persons name. Possibly if it was brought up 6 months ago you could have had very good chances of getting your bike back, but now with the bike being sold and out of his possession you are right back in the same boat....screwed.

Well D-Lish can tell him who he sold it to. I just sold my bike,I know the guys name and where he lives. So if D-lish wants to clear it up he can. Or show proof of being a title holder would clear his name.

True. But, I can $hit on a cop car and walk into a police station with a picture of me doing it to clear my guilty conscience....but that will never happen ..

Disclaimer: I am not saying anybody mentioned in this thread is either guilty or innocent...just mixing the pool of bullcrap up a little bit.

About the vin.....what if it's a frame straight from the factory and it has no vin numbers? I know a few road racers that have them

Yeah, there are hundreds of variables like that in a case like this.........too many 'what if's' My guess is no-one will really ever know what exactly happened - really too bad it all went down like this
