Places to stunt

I am considering moving to East Los Angeles for work and to continue to pursue stunt riding. In Minnesota, there are quite a few county roads that we normally stunt on. Does anyone know if there are some decent straight roads with minimal traffic near LA, or do you have to go up to wine country for that?

I was in LA last March with my bike and found lots of twisties to have fun on, but not many roads where I could just go wheelie.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Well here in L.A. we have a collection of fun **** to ride, lots of canyons, lots of freeways for the miles long wheelies, hidden spots here and there to stunt slow ****, plenty of bike shops. If your in the ghetto areas or new developing areas the cops don't care how reckless you ride.

Re: Places to stunt

i got a good spot out in riverside. my pops owns a warehouse and there is nothing around. slow **** allowed in the warehouse if you sign a waiver and anything goes (NO BURNOUTS!!!) on the street in the front. if cops do roll up then you can say you are testing out products.

riverside is about an hr from LA

that is sooo sick man. I wish I had one of those over here in Vermont. We have a spot, but its a little sketchy and we could definately get busted.

practice spots are key. I do think its all about street sh** though. i'm sick of seeing nothing but loading docks in stunt video's.

Excellent, thanks much for the info. Is it pretty easy to find decent guys to ride with? I have a couple of guys here that I do wheelies and hit the county roads with, but a lot of riders around here are squids and only ride helmetless in town.

Yeah when I got my first streetbike like 11 months ago I made a grip of more friends all quick. Dudes that just got bikes too, we were all interested in stunts, now we all stunt together. Occassionaly I'll ride a canyon with some older heads. Everyone here seems to be coool.

yeah no prob. i am going to blow this new spot up. then right down the street they are putting a race track in. my pops & this other guy own the warehouse and the other guys son is the one thats starting the race track. he said they will do stunt shows & possibly let everyone stunt there so keep your fingers crossed. tryin to get big thing going down here. the track is less than 1/2 mile from my stunt spot and it opens next march or sometime around there. check out the site of this track
