Carburetor help
I'm new to this site but need some legal help. (by the way I don't ride a sport bike, I have a 98 custom softail) I recently took my bike in to have the jets rejetted for after market pipes. They said they had to rebuild my carburetor in order to get my fuel/oil mixture set properly. In the end, they drilled out my high jet screw and the oil/fuel mixturde bowl(among a few other things).
I guess MI has a law against doing these things, not to add, my bike was running 500 times worse after leaving the shop. I ended up spending a ton more at the local Harley dealer getting it fixed properly.
Does any one know about this law? Or where I can get information on it? The dealer said it's 10,000 fine to the shop and mechanic for drilling.

Re: Carburetor help
youre first mistake was buying a harley, second was mistake was trying to polish that turd. i have no idea what youre talking about, but yes its common to have to rejet if you change pipes and such. there is no oil/fuel anything, oil doesnt get mixed with gas unless its a 2 stroke, which a harley is not
