i heard that some dont need to..how did u do it is there a good way to do it ,i dont wanna screw up my micron

well it depends on the exhaust that you have..... and the length of the 12 bar.... i have an '01 f4i with a two brothers exhaust and i didnt cut the can down so now the bottom tip of the can has been filed down...... so it just depends on that..... do you want to take the chance of that or just cut it down..... i should have cut it down....
