i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
Re: i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
umm i'd recommend something small not too big like a 250 or a 500, but if you dont want something like that then i'd recommend a 600, like a CBR600F3 or F2 at the most...
Re: i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
lol check out the avatar, i'm rockin the 250, no regrets for me i've been riding it since i was 14, whenever i turn 16 next march i'll be steppin it up to a 600
Re: i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
an f3 would be an excellent first bike, easy to ride, and pretty tame so you wont get into too much trouble. Just take it easy on whatever you get and youll be fine

I started on my friends 929, not a good idea. I got a 600 for myself, good starter bike. It's more forgiving than the bigger bikes, but has enough power for when you need it. Just get a bike that you feel comfortable on, physically, you want to be able to put both feet firmly on the ground, and not feel like you have to reach too far for the bars etc. So basically, I'm echoing everyone else, get an F3...

Re: i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
If you have riden moto-x before, then I would say your ok to start out on something like an R6 or a GSXR-6. But if you have never ridden at all, go with an f4, or like '99 ninja 6, wont be as jumpy as a fuel injected bike...

Re: i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
man,
He don't want to listen to me. Ok, if your intent on a STREETBIKE than nothing bigger than a 600 NOTHING no 750s no liters, and it's not because I think you'd kill yourself, but because you will become a better rider faster. your bike should always be just an itty bitty bit beyond your capabilities. that way your skill can grow into the bike. iF it's too powerful it WILL hold you back from your potential. I see you have a crf150 than your first streetbike should be a 250 which if you think about it is huge upgrade from what you are on now. remember take small steps and the results will come fast.
I speak from experiance, I wasn't ready for a 954 and as a result it is taking me tons of time to master. If I had a 750 Im sure I would be wipping **** by now. I had quite a few bikes before this one and my progress was awesome I was rocking slow wheelies already but i got a liter bike and the result was like having to go back to square one.
Just check out the guy with that 250 on this post he looks like he's kicking **** big time. And like I said before the more expensive the bike and the newer the more expensive it will be to fix and upgrade.

Re: i need help on desideing what type of sport bike i should get
My first street bike was an 03 gixxer 750. No regrets, I still have it now. Added a 929 to arsenal, love the 929 a whole lot. If you think you can't handle the power get something small. Before I ever rode in the street the people I knew who did ride always told me that I wouldn't be able to handle a 600, or that it would take a long long time to learn to wheelie, and a bunch of other bs. But I said **** it, I'm gettin me a brand new gixxer 750. Got the bike and started riding canyons the second week keepin up with them kneedragers no problem, first month had stand ups on lock- could wheelie as long as I wanted to. 10 months later from never riding street I can do some amazing ****. So get what you want and put the miles on your bike when you get it. I went out everyday and rode the **** out of my bike still do, I had quite a few crashes but I don't regret them either, they are learning steps. People talked **** about me thrashing my bike but I don't care I can out ride them now.
I wanted to learn all the stunts and I pushed myself real hard, so you should push yourself to.
