How many times have you guys gone down. I'm not talking about while working on slow **** and just dropped the bike and tripped or something. I'm talking about **** that hurts pretty good and you wouldnt want to do it again. So whos got the most?

 

Once. Flipped a High Chair endoe at 35 mph, my right leg got stuck on the passenger peg during the flip, and it slid about 30 feet, pinning my right shin to the edge of a curb, with most of the bikes weight on my leg. It ground down all my skin, sanded my shin bone a little, and crushed the front of the bone. I also got my helmet cracked and was knocked out. Bad Times

Oh yeah, and then I had to ride home, after someone helped get the bike off me. Never went to hospital, just kept wounds clean and covered, was back at work in 2 days.

 

I got tank slappers around 80mph(wheel was a lil turned coming down from a wheelie) and broke my collar bone and blew out my shoulder. $25k and 2 surgeries later its back to normal

...been lil more scared to try fast **** ever since even though i got a damper

 

2 times

foot slipped off the peg around 70mph, the bike started to sway back and forth then it made me high side, broke my wrist had 2 surgerys.
second, tank slipper stoppie around 50 went into a low side, limped for 2 months from tissue damage.

note both times i had a helmet, gloves, and jacket or i would have got really ****ed up, because both times, helmet and jacket got ****ed up.

 

went over backwards at 80 on the highway, bike flipped hit me in the chest and rolled into the median, broken neck, broken skull, bleeding profusely (sp) out my right ear, severe concussion / contusion to the brain.

wear your helmet kids, trust me its worth it

 

Came over a hill and my freind was right there on his raptor, we were both going like 40, I jumped up into the air off the pegs to clear the handlebars and hopefully not die, right when we hit my legs go shot back by the handlebars and i did a one and a half sumersault landing on my back. I was fine, he was fine my dirtbike needed a new front rim and his raptors bumber got dented, anyways worst crash i ve been in, im lucky. well, not worst i got 13 stitches in my leg because i wasnt wearing boots ad landed my shin on the peg.....

 

Three

The first was while racing a car in Spain on some road (with me on a bike in case I hadn't made that clear). I managed to hit a car head on doing around 90mph (the car was going around 70mph), which resulted in me almost losing my lower left arm and lower right leg. Thankfully someone looked down on me that day and gave me a second chance to not be so phuqin' stupid in the future, although they still made me pay as I had to live with external fixators for something like six months...

The second was while racing a motard, against Carl Fogarty of all people, at a CCM press day. It's a long story but it ended with me leaving the track in an ambulance with my left leg pointing the wrong way (spiral fracture). That was eight months in plaster as the spiral started in the ankle joint and went up which meant pins and plates wouldn't be a good idea. I was given the choice, though: 'I can pin and plate your leg, but if it doesn't work then you'll probably lose your foot. Or I can plaster it, which means you'll be in a cast for around seven months. What would you like to do?' I chose plaster

The last was flipping a wheelie at around 50mph wearing combats, which are of course nothing more than very thin cotton. Not being able to sit down for two weeks really sucked

 

Once - came down from a stand-up with my wheel crooked . . . front end washed out throwing me off, I landed head first and woke up in the hospital the next day . . . atleast thats what my buddies tell me, I still think I was hit by a car

 

****, I can't even count the times i've been down in the dirt. only two hospital trips though most of it i shook off. broken wrist and countless sprains. never been down on the street though. (knock on wood)

 

dirt last spring, flipped the ttr backwards off a little jump (landed in a wheelie and i tried to keep it up) and shattered my left foot and my left ankle and dislocated my shoulder

and this past sunday i went down hard but i got real lucky and didnt get hurt

On my first bike i was learning to do wheelies...got a little daring and flew down my buddys street doing a wheelie. Came down and started tank slappers. His road has a S-curve in it. Dropped the bike before I hit the S flew over both sides of the curb slid down a side walk for 25ft apx and stop at the end of someones driveway. Broke my right elbow from the curb and the bike was totaled. Ever since I put a steering damper on my Ninja, and havnt tried doing a wheelie again yet.

after my first day of practicing idle up wheelies, I did a normal stand up, and was cruising along nicely, but forgot that my idle was still at 400 rpm. flipped back at about 75 mph, crushed subframe, and my bike flipped like 15 times and broke every single piece on it!!! it was a 97 cbr 900RR. I landed on my tailbone, which was allready broken, and lodged it even further internally, (wherever it goes, I hate saying it got jammed in my ***, but I guess it did.)

like a dumbass I was wearing a tishirt, but had jeans and helmet and gloves, but rashed up most of my back, both my forearms and skinned up my knees pretty bad.

OMG I forgot to do that the other day and I was practicing stand-ups where I slow down as slow as I can get and then set it on the bar, and I couldn't slow down and at one point I was riding my idle I was like WTF but then I figured it out

 

2 yrs ago i looped a couple mile wheelie when i looked behind me to see if i could change lanes. i wa going 70-80mph with only a t-shirt, jeans, helmet, and gloves. after all of the summersaults i did, i slid into the berm right next to my bike and stood up with only a little spot of road rash on my one forearm. jumped back on the bike and took off.

unfortunately, last night i was doin a tank spreader and got cut off by a car. i came down and tried to steer to the left while i was still on the tank, but couldn't so i hit the front break and the front tire washed out from under me. i tumbled and the bike slid. i jumped right up and got back on my bike. thank god for the racing 905 cage i have. not a mark on the bike. anyways, i felt fine till i woke up thinmorning. i couldn't walk on my left foot. i got it x-rayed and my ankle is broken in 2 spots. it freakin sucks. atleast it is early in the season. i'll b back out there soon.

 

first time was when i did a long stoppie at a stoplight and while im ridein the front wheel i notice that i wasent far away from the car ahead of me (already stopped at the light) as i thought. and im already at the balance point so if i gave it any more brake i would of looped or if i would of let off the brake i would of gained speed. So the only other option was to try to turn from hitting the car but it wasent turning at all so i just held on for impact then bang i hit the car thats all i remember from that. i woke up in the hospital an hour or so later. and i came out with a concusion and some road rash. all i have to say is thank god for helmets.

 

secound time i looped a stand up goin about 50mph. nothing to bad from that just some rash my bike got ****ed up tho but its like new now

 

once. It was a Christ gone wrong. I stood up, somehow lost it, bounced across the road a few times, and stopped tumbling just in time to look up and see my bike ride itself into a guard rail. The bike and I both had some minor cosmetic damage.

 

Way too many to even remember.
