pretty close to the end of the first c6 video...been a long time coming, we'll try and have another one at the end of the season...

you forget that we all live like an hour apart and work too much! i am notorious for riding and never having pics or video!!

just tore up New Hampshire International Speedway yesterday for a track day and did a show...was there a camera?--no, pics?---no!!

busted some sick ***** too! lol

yea man, we're the same way....if we had a full time camera man we could of retired off videos by now....**** if we had a camera man for a week we could make a full length video!!!

i feel your post E-DUB, how fast are you going when you're rocking your combos?? i dont have a problem between 30 and 60.....but when i hit then interstate around 70-80 by **** wants to wobble when i try to dance then slow it down for the next trick!!!

 

is not about the the money or the sponsers... ITS ABOUT THE FANS, FRIENDS AND THE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POINT BLANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!if you lose that then there is no reason to ride...

 

Nuthin wrong with hittin the streets, but for me I had to try and tone it down b/c the reality of it is that eventually you will be caught and your license will take a beating...So I moved to industrial areas and an dragway..
Also street clips, parkin lot clips, dragway clips..its all good to me..
Hell the Florida clip was A1...so was the Daytona clip with Merk, Darius etc..
For me its all in how it is put together....

For me it is only a hobby, I stunt for fun...But for all of you guys who are looking to push this sport to a new level in regards to sponsors etc etc...My advice to you would be to re read Teach's post over and over again until it sinks in..IMO that is some of the best advice I have read to date on this subject..

if you fruitcakes with gangsta gears, bars, handbrakes, training wheels are ridin to get sponsors, or "paid" (which is a joke in itself) step to your right and the exit is on your left

i dont see anyone gettin paid to ride....gettin paid is through merchandising, how you ask? puttin **** out that people actually want to see

this sport is illegal, it came from the streets and for right now that is where it belongs, whether your in a parking lot or the highway its just as illegal so if your gonna get arrested it mind as well be for somethin nah mean?!

I bite my tongue a lot when I read things on stuntlife, but I have a few things to say. I am not a rider plan and simple. I never claimed to be and never will. But I do my part in the industry, and have witness many things. What it basically comes down to is this.

Do you ride for a hobby? or Do you ride as a career?

There are both kinds of riders on this website. Why is anyone knocking the other person for his or her decision? If you want to be a hobby rider cool be a hobby rider. Work your day job and ride in your spare time. If you want to be a career rider be a career rider. Strive to make a living doing something you like doing.

But both sides need to quit worrying about what the other side is doing. You will always have both sides to every “sport”. People need to start working with those that have the same mind frame and perfect their side of the “sport”.

That’s my 2 cents take it for what its worth.

i ride for FUN and for the personal challenge...plus i like competition and being put under pressure. i do well at it which is why i seek comps...shows are the other end of things-fun.

i try to get sponsors because i am poor. i remember saying 3 years ago in DTE that it would be killer to not have to pay for anything, and that all i wanted out of this sport was to ride for free.....it is not cheap to travel the country and push the limits-breaking yourself and your bike.

i have attained my goal, so to me sponsors are important because (selfishly) they allow me to continue riding...i do what i can when i can to progress our "sport" when the opportunity arises, gaining sponsorships is one of those ways.

i don't pay for isht, and that is the benefit of doing what i do...my bikes are someone elses, someone different does my paint and stickers, another person provides me with chain and sprockets, someone esle for crash cages and bars, yet another person does me for brake pads, and finally a last person pays me a cash amount per month for xtra parts and travel. so what does it cost me to do what i LOVE?? nothing. i pay my way to places for the most part so that i can satisfy my other riding need: bringing it to the edge and competing...

without my sponsors, i'd be on my blinged out RR rocking street ***** everywhere i went, you wouldn't know who i was....i'd also be in the hole bc i'd have to pay for my bikes, my parts, etc. and most importantly, i'd miss out on all the killer times and cool cats that i've met in the past four years...

so yes, i ride for fun and to meet people yadda yadda yadda, but i also ride for the competition.

it is like racing: it is fun to fly around a track, but it is more fun to try to beat the guy next to you or in front of you...

i will have my cake and eat it too...

i'm trying to get back to the old times and fun this summer...hopefully i'll be able to hang and rock out with all y'all suckers out there!!

Well I don’t say a lot here but I have to say something about these. I love to ride my bike and I ride for myself and my team (STREETFIGHTERZ). We didn’t start out stunting to make money, we stunt because that is what we are. Now if I can make some money doing this I’m going to do that and STREET will make you money NOT THE PARKING LOT. Manny if you are having problems get sponsors then you must not be a good business man because we have 5 videos out all 95% Street and we got sponsored (4) 2003 GSXR. If you are looking for Honda to sponsor you then you got into the wrong field. Honda and all the rest don’t make bikes to stunt they make them to race. So if you plan to make some money and get a sponsor to pay for you to ride then you need to put out the best video and be the best rider and a good business man. **** Honda and all the rest will still tell you NO ( THEY MAKE THESE BIKES TO RACE NOT STUNT)

Honestly, I dont think that the street **** is going to affect sponsors either way. Look at skateboarding and BMX, there are tons of "big name" sponsors who sponsor riders who ride or skate street only. They sponsor people who fu(k up ledges and rails and have a large potential for getting arrested. I think when it comes down to it, if a sponsor is actually legit, they probably arent going to care whether or not you rock the street.

 

Look at Redbull, they're a huge supporter of "extreme" sports. They sponsered that dude that basejumped of that bloody big Jesus in Rio! That's a pretty illegal thing to be doing.

it gets boring to watch after about a minute on video, and If I rode street bikes I bet I would get bored of doing it after a while also
