sitting or standing
sitting or standing
12's sitting or standing? I feel more comfortable standing, but find I'm squared off naturally sitting . . . plus sitting, my bar scrapes evenly, but I get mostly the left edge standing . . . I kinda figured out its because I don't have much body weight on my right leg at 12 . . .
Re: sitting or standing
standing is easier.
if the bar is parking fine standing, then it's just a mental thing thinking you are only scraping on the left side. if it's only scraping the left side you'd get crazy wobbly and it'd probably fall over. if i'm doing bar tricks, i always start from foot on peg....just more comfortable that way.

foot in bar= foot in bar
that's how most people say it, at least that's how i say it. but i just say foot on peg or foot in bar to shorten it up.

Re: sitting or standing
foot in the bar takes the weight off your arms significantly but it takes some getting used to to get your weight centered on the bike. either or is good for me. i like foot in the bar more though, i just stand there and do tricks as opposed to hanging on to the bike. im really lazy.

Re: sitting or standing
i do bar tricks from foot on peg, but all my slow stuff i do foot in bar. no weight on your hands.
i push my foot all the way to hte left of the bar. also, it takes a long time to get used to keeping all your weight on your left leg. My foot doesn't even touch the right peg when i'm doing foot in bar, i just have my toe on the brake lever and that's it. any pressure on the right peg will send the bike to the right. took me about a month and a half to get it, and that was after i could do slow stuff really good with foot on peg.
