I was originally planning on buying a 03 gsxr750 but the guy sold it out form under me and I was hoping to pick it up next week. Now I found a 2001 929rr, that seems pretty solid(3000 miles on it). For those who own this year, can you tell me about the cluth basket(i believe) problems they had a recal on. Also this is my first bike and i know a 929 is exactlly ideal in a lot of peoples minds, but how r the ergos on it for a taller rider(6'6"). Let me hear what you all think.

 

Buy it quick!!! I have an 01 and haven't had a problem with the clutch. I think the recall was for 2000's and they fixed it for 01
