ok, i've had it, i'm sick of hearing about "blah blah i'm sponsored by 905". Every person i've talked to that has 905 on their bike claims to be sponsored by them...how is this so? they wouldn't make any money at all that way. I haven't heard of one person that said they bought a cage from them.

anyone else think this too?


SIDE NOTE: this isn't a hate post against 905, personally i couldn't care less about the company, don't know them, don't have an opinion on them good or bad.

 

not sponsored by anyone who makes cages ...and the only cage i would run is a FI ...and i paid for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i have nothing against 905 ...just dont like it at all

 

they are an awsome company, full of helpful people. they were nothing but nice to me at stunts wars and they have helped lots of other people.

 

I was thinking the same thing about FI

 

just cuz someone is rockin' a 905 cage, and saying they are sponsored by them doesn't mean they got the cage for free maybe they got a discount??

 

amen, i'm the same way. i love my FI, nothing against other cages, i just found one i like and i rock it to it's fullest.

f4rider, i know very few people that are sponsored by FI....there are a couple main stunt teams, darius, and i think he gives the hookup to PBR. I've bought all my FI products and i support them 100% but i'm by far not sponsored. I just like tim's work and i really don't feel bad about spending money on FI stuff because Tim is one of my friends and he has to eat too.

pfunk: if they only get a discount then that's just a discount. i can get a discount from the dippin dots booth in the mall if i talk to the kid before i buy them, but that doesn't mean they are a sponsor to my eating habits....haha

 

dippin dots.. lmao! haha, that'd be tight! Anyways, 905 hooks people up and im sure give a lot of riders free cages. I went through one, bent it, then they sent me a new one (I only paid shipping charges). As far as how do they make money??.. easy, tons (TONS) of posers! Where I live.. maybe 10 people stunt.. but like 35 people have 905 cages, 12bars etc.

That brings me to my next point.. i HATE POSERS!

 

damn, i didn't know that many posers ran this ****. i guess i only talk to stunters so i don't really see the rest of the motorcycle world. not many bikes in my area......like, maybe 15 sportbikes total in terre haute.

 

Man, I see SO many people rocking cages and bars and cant even wheelie 2nd gear saying **** like "My R1 wont wheelie in 2nd.. or The balance point on my bike is WAY to high, not like yours. It's way higher" etc. I was at my stunt spot the other day, this fool says "Your OK, but my homboy can out ride you on the highway" (basically saying that slow stuff doesn't require as much skill as fast stuff) So i hit up the streets for a 10 min session.. dude was going like 120mph or some ****, like a mile ahead of us when he finally puts his wheel down... im rocking 65 constant speed and still get no respect!

This other guys best "trick" is scraping *CAGE*! Not the bar.. he skids and hits the cage on the pavement... no no no.. let me say this again, his BEST **TRICK** is scraping CAGE!

Sorry for the rant.. tonights ride has me all worked up.

 

I hate people too I do 8 circle wheelies then wheelie out into 2 right handers and park it on the bar....some *** on an r6 has the nerve/ignorance to ask me how far and how fast I can wheelie! Are you serious?

 

Tricks I do that you can't:

-coaster burnout donuts
-no handed 1 footed coaster stoppie donuts
-high chair backflip endo (1 or no handed)
-rev limiter high chair coaster w/ clutch out and no hand brake

everyone on this site thinks they are sponsored binder....where have you been.
there are less than 10 people on this site who have a FULL ride....i really dont think people know what the true meaning is...****...maybe i dont.

anyhow...you should not even give a ****...here in chicago...no one gives a **** what you have... if someone said...im sponcered by so and so...the reply you would get is... "who gives a ****, go ride ur bike"

a $200 or $300 cage will never make you a sponsored rider.

i see, so now i know some people that buy them.

and ya, people that are dumb with stunting **** me off. they argue that it's easier to do slow stuff, but at the same time, if it's easier, why can't they do it? you call them out, nothing.

so what i say, run up on them, bitch slap them with your left hand, not the right, it has to be the left hand, then kick their bike over.

 

I have alot of respect for ANYONE rocking slow stuff - takes hours and hours of practice to control that rear brake/throttle and clutch at the same time.

Most people have a mind set that if your not in a video or on of the 'big names' in te industry that your just some geek off the street.
