636 as a first bike

so i am a big guy 6'4 250 i am gettin a bike real soon but i odnt have too much money to spend and my pops wants me to buy brand new. my boy works at a kawi dealer and can get me a killer price on a leftover 636 it feels pretty comfortable and the price is right OTD 7 eve. i know i should get a bigger bike but 1 i dont have enough money for the increased incurance, and my dads worried about me gettin a bigger bike. do you think this bike would be good for me or get summin else, and also how do they stunt? anyhelp would be great thanks guys

They are good bikes and from what ive seen stunt very well

It'll be good, if where you live the roads are half as botched as ours, a guy your size would break the springs on an EX250 after a month.

great bike, small, light, but built like a kawi...plan on buying some aftermarket parts to toughen it up....

got to test ride one at the local dealership, nice bikes, you might want to go up a couple teeth in the back once you get used to riding, kawis have kinda shitty low end torque but its an all around good, comfortable bike.

like ninja jay said, a cage, sprockets, nothing too drastic at first, maybe 1 down in the front and 2 up in the back, a steering dampner,talk to shuggs on that one, i have one of his and im happy with it.

i've got woodcraft (www.woodcraft-cfm.com) clip ons, rearsets/pegs, and case cover to toughen it up, and some sprockets so it doesn't take quite a beating...footpegs are garbage, front/rear, and the brackets as well....

Get a cage cause if the wind blows hard your pegs will break, and your exhaust will fall off..
