Aint that some shit
Aint that some ****
so i'm out last night and me and 5 other people are riding and its 12:30 in the mourning and i clutch up a wheelie and BAM my chain snaps. not very fun. then one of the guys has a truck but 1 tie down, so i have to sit on the bike the whole way home holding the front brake and keeping it from falling over in the back of the truck. A guy i know from stuntlife drove an hour to come ride with me today. so today i wake up and get a new chain and put it on. i'm out riding and the first wheelie i do it busts the piece of metal that goes on the back of the swing arm that you use to move your tire forward or back to tighten the chain. i say **** but i have a buddy like a 1/4 of a mile away that i was going to anyways. we push my bike and while we are pushing it there a volunteer firefighter tells me i need to pull my bike over and push it off the road. he even had his lights on and everything like he was cool. my exact words were, You want to ****ing push this? if not then **** you. so he gives me the funniest face and leaves. we get to my boys house and make anohter piece its just a metal piece that goes around abolt to push on the swing arm. i then try to clutch up a wheelie again and it bends it and twists it. so we pull over to a parking lot and stop then i try to start my bike and i'd killed the battery. so i call my uncle who has a trailer and hes hout of town untill tomarrow. so i say **** it and leave my bike in a parking lot and we will go and pick it up tomarrow. worst part is stanger929 drove all the way down to ride with me and we rode mebbe 15 mins the whole day.
btw anyone know why now it is causing my **** to bust when i try and clutch them up? is the new chain just causing that much more torque that the pressure is cracking that ****?

Re: Aint that some ****
was your chain, axle and rear wheel adjusted properly and tightened to proper torque? thats the first question
if not, then that's most likley your problem, chain was too tight, or axle was over-tightened, or axle was not aligned right.. could be a combination of alot of things, that and it's probably all ghetto and beatup too

1st off i know how to work on a bike, i'm a mechanic
2nd it was because it was alumnum both times and that **** isn't strong. i'm going to use 1/4 steel and then put some teeth on it so it cant twist.
1st chain had at LEAST 12k miles on it cause i never chainged it since i got it and it was stretched as *** so i wasn't amazed when it broke.

Re: Aint that some ****
well my bike was there when i came back
and i made a thing out of steel that works but its a little short on one side because i didn't want it to hit my sproket so it bent the steel a little, but i order the factory end pieces they were only 6 bucks a piece! so hopefully i will put on my new stuff and it will let me clutch them up again. i never learned to power them up so that is gonna be shitty
why power when you can clutch?
