Kickstand wheelies=ouch

so i was at animal shelter because my boy was looking to get a dog and there were a bunch of people outside so when i left i picked it up and rode it for awhile then set it down and when i did i felt something hit the ground hard and my **** wobbled like a madman. i felt like my from calipur came off or something. so i pull in to a parking lot real quick and my boy is just laughing his *** off and he tells me that i never put my kickstand up and wheni came down the shocks compressed and i hit didn't wreck but it freaked me out i though i busted the front end or something.

(bike got stolen and broke the kickstand sensor so i just bypassed it becuase the thing is like 120 bucks and i didn't want to waste money on something i could just use a wire nut on)

glad you are ok bro you got lucky. that would of been nasty. If I were you I would get that bitch fixed, IMO. I seen too many people go down because they forgot their kick stand was still down. A few extra dollars will end up saving you in the long run.

NO **** MAN I saw this guy who had just bought a used bike with the same remedy used as the one above try to show out in front of the HOTT AZZ BIATCHES and of course he instead ended up wrecking his **** so bad he spent 3 days in the hospital he now runs a spring so FU(Kin heavy on his stand you can barely get it down and grinds the detent out of them so as soon as you lift the bike up the stand snaps up like a bear trap kinda a pain in the *** but then again I wasn't the one in the hospital .... I don't think that I could count the number of times I've seen someone take off with their kick stand down, I'm just glad that mine stalls out, I would more than likely dump it if I hit the kick stand, your showing good recovery skills but I'de still spent the money and get it fixed, sounds like it could save you a lot of hassle.

Re: Kickstand wheelies=ouch

Back in the day (2 years ago) my boy was running from the cops on his RR and he had to lock it up at an intersection becouse of traffic, and his bike shut off he set there trying to start the damn thing. In the mean time the cops cought up with him and just as the cops were about to grab him he realized the kickstand had came down! Needless to say as soon as he got bailed out he bypassed the damn thing.

Re: Kickstand wheelies=ouch

you got super lucky dude......I was gonna say, how the hell did you get the bike in gear without the kickstand up, mine has the sensor which causes the engine to shut off if i try to shift into gear while the stand is down. Be more careful from now on, you might not be that lucky next time

Re: Kickstand wheelies=ouch

glad you are ok...dude, you seriously need to lay off. everyday you have something new and almost die. i'd be paying a lot more attention to detail cause luck will run out.

kick stand switch, a couple bucks on ebay or you can go to advance auto and spend a couple bucks and just get a different type of switch that does the same thing.

Re: Kickstand wheelies=ouch

first i dont believe in luck, its skill. i am good at keeping my bike under control, and staying cool when something goes wrong.

luck is something that the jews invented to explain why random things happen that are good. or a very easy way to blame **** on like i wrecked because i was unlucky, where really it was because you got scared and ditched your bike.

yeah but that **** doesn't count with my stoppie wreck it was a dirtbike and it wasn't my fault you gotta tell a brother when you put steel lines and best brake pads possible on it.
