**first 12o'clock crash....DAMN IT!!**

Damn man it sucks big time i scarped the tail twice yesterday on my stock f4, i was 12ing big time at 20-25 miles it felt so damn good...then on the third scrape my left foot slipped and BOOOM!! im on the street and the bike hit the street slaaam on its right side..fu(k!! At least i hit the brake b 4 i feel saved the tail!!
im ok nothing happened to me thank god but the bike aaaaaaah its really not the time im getting really good at 12s i need to practice more damn
and since the right clipon was snapped i had to do stuff ti kinda remided me if magiver the guy who creates things out of nothing i had the tie the clipon with some tap that i took off my rear peg "some ppl weld the peg i used tap" and rode it in that condition for 30 miles.
the street that i was practicing at was in middle of no where it has sand on both sides so what i did,,,, this is so stupid i had no other opinions i had to bury the whole right side fairing under the sand and come back later to pick it up which i did. There was no way i could carry that thing with the clipon hanging out..
The thing that i learned out of this is to buy some long *** sliders if i had them nothing would've happened...but fu(k it thats wat stunting is all about

sorry for the long essay

peaceout

could have bought 2 cages for the cost of the parts you are replacing....haha, i recommend one.

glad you are ok, i recommend learning controlled slow stuff before trying to scrape, you won't crash as much. and watch that speed man!!! that's a wicked fast scrape for a beginer.

Re: **first 12o'clock crash....DAMN IT!!**

Yea... I had my first scrape saturday. I was trying to clutch from like 5-10 mph, and i was getting them up high, but then I'd get choppy with my throttle and have to put it down. But then i brought it high, was riding it for 10-15 ft, then I heard the engine die down and bam.... my feet fell off and was running with the bike while grasping my clutch for dear life and trying to keep from revving it to hell, I scraped like 30 ft (it was a little squirly cause my exhaust wasn't cut yet) then the bike started leaning and I fell down with it.

Anyways, GET A CAGE!!! I didn't have a single thing get hurt on my bike (cept my exhaust got dinged a bit) thanks to one.

it'll sure as **** help. it won't protect everything and might break but it should lessen the impact on important things like your case cover.

I personally wouldnt go with sliders unless you get the spring loaded ones. If your bike falls from a twelve it will most likely take the impact on the sider and if that tab motor mount tab breaks the slider bolt can puncture your block or head on the motor. I just wrecked a 12 today with my cage on and it didnt even phase the bike or cage or anything. I got some rash on my knee and a 1" scratch on teh side of my tail and that was it. Went from 12 strait onto its right side. I'd highly recommend a cage
