Most people call it a JOB ! Seriously, unless you are one of the OG's(Original Godfathers). The big name riders in todays world more than likely has a full time job just like everybody else. The only riders that I believe make a decent living off this sport are Starboyz, Todd Colbert, D-Mann, Jason Britton, & I don't think Darius is too far behind them.

Most of the other riders are puting whatever they do make towards fixing their bikes, purchasing more DVDs, buying more shirts, etc.....it is an endless loop. So if you think you will be on MTV Cribs anytime soon in this sport..think again.

 

Ok you just listed some people who do make money, and then you said most of the other riders r putting whatever they make toward stuff,


I am not out to get rich, i dont plan on making, like i said i am writingan article and HOW they make money, not who is making it.

I think it will happen soon. **** just needs to be taped and put out there. Everybody I have shown a video to thinks it kicks ***.It just needs exposure (like this website),more importantly on tv like speedvision or whatever,when it takes off these guys, new or OG's ,will get the sponsors and $$ they deserve.

Put it this way.....if stuntriding is the only "job" someone has, they aint paying a mortgage, car payments, ins.,....etc.

 

I make money from selling video's, selling vids on my website, selling merchandise on the site, having booth's at local events and wherever the stunt show is at. Out of all the show's I have done they never really pay off, I usually end up funking my bike up soo bad it's cost me more to fix it then what i got paid, stuntwar's wasnt bad, made a little money but then if I added up what it cost me to get there I'm still in the hole. You have to be smart about it, you have to have been doing it a long time to where lots of people know your name and trust the video they buy will be good, if you go to your local dealer your most likely going to buy the video where you know the dude making it or have at least heard of him at one point that's why the Og's do better than the new kid coming out.

 

I guess a better question would be how can we all get escalades on them thaaaanngs and pimped out 240z'??
