Good to see your ok. That sounds like a bad crash. You were lucky to walk away from that one.

I try to keep my wheelies 60 and under. Preferably under 20 if possible.:p

I flipped a highchair stoppie at about 40mph. Bike landed on me and broke my collarbone. Just about back to normal. Should be good as new in another week or two.

check this out.

i am riding the usual strip at night. it is lit up.

i run down the right lane, go to the end, turn left, come back, turn left. i am doing this for about 15 minutes. so are some of my crew. i know who is out and how they ride. there are some cars and bikes watching.

so i go by my boys and the group of bikes just as i always do get to the end and smack!!!

here some newbie jumped in behind me. when i looked in my rearview i didn't see anything cause he was in a wheelie( headlight up).

when he saw me stopping( at the same spot i have been turning around all night) he decided to go by me on the left( i have been making lefts all night). he hit me at like 70/80. t boned.

i hit the ground and stopped. my bike, his bike, and him all landed like 200 hundred feet away.

i took all of that force and went straight into the ground.
that broke my collarbone and gave me a concussion.
when he hit my left side he broke my arm in two places, sliced my tendon and artery. when my boys got there they said i waw lying in a puddle of blood and it was spurting out of my wrist.
they said i was conscious if you can believe that.
my memory if fuzzy.

now i have a bump on my collarbone. titanium plate in my arm. and i am still getting movement back in my wrist from my tendon.

remember guys sometimes you have to watch out for the other ********.

Broken neck (Vertebra at base of neck).

One unnamed rider who happens to be in the process of getting ten violations or so ...

Was running the local rode and decided for a stand-up at about 65 MPH...Nothing special, until the peg snapped!

(Luckily he got up with a couple inches of rash, nothing serious.)

It is so funny to here him describe looking over the head light, then seeing the bars, gas tank, seat, back seat, tire, asphalt then sky then asphalt again!

Rolled across a three lane express way and rolled to his feet at the meridian wall, just in time to see headlights coming straight at him.

The lady swerved and missed him.

A guy stopped to help him and picked up his bike. Told the unnamed rider that his bike was toast. When the rider checked out his bike, there was only a few new scrapes.

The samaritian, said "Dude, did you see what you did to your gas tank?".....

the riders reply was...."Yeah, I did that with a hammer along time ago"

Actually Mr. Kyle Woods did it to his bike with a hammer along time ago .

Anyways, the guy then realizes the rider is "ONE OF THOSE STUNT RIDERS" :D

Regarding one of the earlier post....About it being all fun and games until someone gets hurt...

One of my favorite t-shirts...

"It's all funny until someone gets hurt....Then it is HILARIOUS!"

I know, probably bad taste for a "Stunna" board :devil

Man I dunno how some of you crazies do it. I used to romp around with just a lid and fingerless leather gloves but since I've got my Dianese 1 piece, that's changed. I just don't feel like I have any ***** unless I am wearing my 1 piece with the back protector and my Teknics along with Sidi Vert. Race boots. Without all that **** I feel like my ***** are the size of tic-tacs anymore. Funny thing about it is I was never like that until I wore the gear for the first time and now I just feel nekked without it. I'm always afraid I'm going to loop a highway wheelie and grind my elbows down to nothing.
