Next week we will be e-mailing out and invitation to over 100 different stunt groups along the east coast. I think once you check that out you will be pleased with the opportunity the promoters are offering.

Just an update for anyone interested in attending. The guys at Ad Mania have brought XMS on as a consaltant for the comp. We have changed ALOT since the original conception of this comp/show.

1. The four teams listed will still be appearing and doing shows.
2. The purse's have been greatly increased to attract the best competitors, may of whom have to drive great distances to get here. The purses and comps can be found here : http://www.stuntrageous.com/purses.html
3. Vendor space is now free for teams/riders that have entered 2 or more comps. First come first serve on location
4. We are organizing a party saturday night in Lake George for all the riders, etc with live bands, and more.
5. Discounted tickets will be available for children, and families
6. We are setting up a practice area for comptitors that have entered the competiton, which will be available both days
7. We will have live music all weekend
8. We have a MTV personality scheduled to appear for the weekend
9. We are negioting a discounted rate at a hotel in Lake George for anyone interested in saving $$$
10. We plan on having a freestyle motorcross jumper both days
11. A custom bike show is in the works
13. The new events will be :

Pros- Longest endo, Timed Freetsyle, Sickest trick, Longest coaster, Circle wheelie
Amatuers-Longest endo, sickest trick, caoster and circle wheelie
Team- Timed freestyle

14. We are securing a location to ride all week before the comp, so anyone that will be in town for the Starboyz stuntfest the weekend before(we are 6 hours east) we will accomadate you and provide plenty of time to relax and ride while you are here. We have bike shops that are on board and will help out if bikes need repair etc.


We have alot of things in the works and I will try and keep everyone posted as things progress. The goal in Ad Mania bring us on is to make this a great weekend for everyone involved. We have attended and filmed almost every comp in the past 4 years and have a pretty good idea what works and what doesn't, of course I would love to hear your feedback as this comp is still evolving! also, who is deciding who is pro or not? I don't think i'm anywhere on the same level as pro, but some would argue i'm not amature.

and if we are deemed amature, is it ok to still give a try in the pro freestyle since there is no amature freestyle

 

if you don't know...you have no choice but to compete "Pro" and throw your lot in with the best out there. no cherry picking in amateur!! lol

 

well teach, i think i'm amature, but i wanted to compete in freestyle too so i'd have to compete in pro for freestyle. I know some people would complain saying i'm pro just because i'm good at some things, like coasters.....but i'm still not on the same level as people like jason britton, darius, joe brown, you, thew, etc.....

plus some of us that will be driving 16 hours to this thing would like to make some money to at least break even on gas cost.

 

true true, for coaster enter pro...pro freestyle...other stuff, do what you feel your level is...

About 3 hours, just head straight up 87 North---super easy once you get out of the city

 

I hear ya with the cops... They won't take any crap... dont forget about Albany and Saratoga County Sheriff's ....They love to hand out tickets or tow ya.
So be careful on I90-I87- and I787...

Whats going on this weekend? the XMS forum is under riding groups here at stuntlife, if you guys have stuff going on stop in and post up! A fiddy ride sounds great, the last time I rode with a large number of people was in ChicagoLand last summer when I was staying at Shugga's house....nobody hit the streets like they all did

 

I would love to ride the fiddy this weekend, i miss ridin it, but...im in florida til the middle of june, im comin back and then headin right for laconia and then when i get back, itll be stuntrageous time, so that would be the ideal weekend for a big fiddy ride for me in the albany area, by the way, whos goin to laconia the

 

I'll have the motorhome parked in the the loudon "play area" for thruday, friday, saturday, and sunday....a couple of us are going......let me know of you plan on stay at the track, we'll save some room near us!
