Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

the first time i saw the guy on it, im like ****! he's w heeling on a dyno!!! THere was good resistance cause he clutched it up a good amount to snap it up. I wanted to get on that **** & rip some dual rear peg highway style wheelies.

Great idea. But wasnn't it a 954?

He had to clutch the living **** out of it. If you clutched a 954 that hard in any gear you would have a 400lb bike on top of you. No one could keep it up very long though.

Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

it wasn't realistic though. you could have it vertical and pretty much stall out the motor then crack it and all would be good. in real life you'd be looping . it's the weighted wheel that makes it untrue. if someone could figure it out alittle better it would be a great winter time tool. anyhow my .02

Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

yeah, i seen that stupid chit... it is about as un-realistic as they come. dont get me wrong, its cool, but the older guy says it is 99% true street realistic. but when they were wheelieing it, as soon as it got to the balance point, it like allmost stalled. yeah, he was doing combos, but who couldnt on that, it wont flip, it was tied down not even close to the "12-o'clock" position... and i couldnt ride it so it blows....

Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

Hell yeah I saw that thing also. I thought it was real funny how that guy looked so into it, like he was bustin out or something. That guy was falling back so hard, that if he tried that on the hwy he was for sure going to loop it.

Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

I seen it in person @ stuntwars. The swing arm is bolted up to some sort of rear stand, and the strap to the front rim prevents the bike from looping. It looks like ALOT of fun to experament with new wheelies.

Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

That would be pretty good for some of us guys who are snowed in all winter. Build one in your garage and tweak it out a bit better so you get a bit of side to side play and try to make it as realistic on getting it up as possible i guess you would have to play around with diffrent friction surfaces on like a barrel or some ****. And you could hook it up at both ends so you have a barrel with friction surface under the back tire hooked up to one on the front tire to make the front wheel move also and let the rear free with the front held down so you could practise rolling stoppies. Anything is possible to build.

Re: Wheelie machine at wars???!??!?!

i think it's a great idea, but not at stuntwars. nobody wants to look like a tool riding it all day, like they can't ride a real wheelie.
