Daytona Steering damper

Has anyone ever tried a Daytona steering damper? I want to purchase a damper but dont want to fork out 500 bills for name brand. Ape racing sells them for cheeper. If you have one or have info on them it would be

i love my daytona
ive used it for two years
the only thing is its only 7 click adjust
i always either run it on 1 or 7 never inbetween

check my vid trailer in videos you can see it in use

Yea I got one off of this site and I love mine. I either keep it at 1 or 7 setting too. I've got it for my 900rr. Some friends got the scotts and they broke after about 2 mo. and would not ajust as stiff and my daytona when they were new. I like em and there cheap. So go get one today.

I bought one for my 99 ZX6R and it hung over the fairing about 2 1/2 inches. I sent it back, that was just asking to break. I could have installed it differently although it limited the steering to much. You may want to see if the story is the same for your bike.

Also check out 1888fastlap.com for prices on those Daytonas. These guys are great with customer service.

ohlins all the way, its expencive but its worth it. RIGHT JC

i fliped a stoppie at 60mph tank slapper with a daytona

dont go cheap it could be your *** your talking about

now i have an ohlins and i love it
