I think this will be pretty useful for stunting since it's a cross between road and a MX helmet. This is a bit of an odd-ball design, Arai claiming it as hybrid model—a cross between a dirt and a road helmet. With its peak and protruding chin-bar, it has the initial look of a dirt helmet, but the face shield—which slides up under the peak—is pure road style.

The shield can be removed for goggle usage, or the peak for road usage. Arai do warn that if you keep the peak installed at higher speeds it will adversely affect the aerodynamics.

The interior padding are removable for washing and exchangeable for different sizes for a better fit. Arai also claim that the peak aids venting by directing air into the upper vent, with the mouth vent able to be used to either provide fresh air to the mouth area or directed upward to the inside of the shield to prevent fogging.

 

the only helmets i will buy are arai but i dunno about this one...?it's kinda weird looking..i like all the features, but..... still weird .just my

 

the only reason i like mx helmets are cause you have better visabilaty, i wonder if that thing has a wider opening where the face sheild is than a street helmet??
