I always pull over for officers. I love getting tickets and being yelled at, and then being asked "What the hell I thought I was doing" , I pull over everytime, and I suggest everyone do the same....

I ran when I was young and DUMB.

1st, if you are smart you won't get pulled over in the first place.
2nd, if you are pulling some assclown move in front of a cop and get pulled over, talk your way out of it. Most cops have let me go for clowning around if I BS my way out of it.

Look at it this way: Even if the cop is a dick, pull over for doing a wheelie or whatever and maybe get a ticket or two. Run from the cops (possible caught/crash/DEATH) get arrested (don't for get the possibility of getting your *** kick by the cops - like that never happens ) , receive about 14 or 15 tickets, need a lawyer for court, pay court fees and add to the judges kids college fund and possibly to end up with jail time or community service. So basically you can pay about 100 bux for some lame ticket or end up paying a few grand and losing your license for clowning around. Real smart :YEAH

 

Just got chased by the ghetto bird last night....headed out to bike night, rollin about 40 deep & about 8 of us out front get on the express way and post up. Well there are 2 cops sittin in construction on the opposite side when we roll by them. Of course they called us in, next thing I know my girl is screamin chopper in my ear, look up and there's the all black bird. People started scattering so I figure screw it and hammer the throttle, I got up to 175 and the bastard was still circling...I made it to bike night though and buried my bike deep in the parking lot. After the bird circled a few times it just took off. Thought I was done for sure, guess I'm 5-1 now. FTP! :YEAH

 

Heh! Yeah dawg you got lucky on that one... Next time your in that situation... best bet is to head towards the wairport... Restricted airspace and they won't be able to enter it. Now them boys on the ground will be a different story.

 

Yeah thought of that, but the airport was a half hour the other way...damn - if Michigan didn't have a helmet law I was only about 200 yards from the state line though!! As long as they didn't get my plate I should be cool...

I was told dunno if it's true or not but the max speed of a police chopper is 165mph ? not that it matters

 

I dont know of any choppers that do 165 stock

I've run from the cops in my talon 3 times.. never would though if they were already almost to my speed.. although I "could" take them It wouldnt be enough of a speed difference to really give me time to get away.. Only one of my 3 was a highway run, I knew the area well

 

who cares the top speed on them copters, if you gotta bird overhead take 'em to the nearest airport, not that I would know from experience or anything....

 

Just wondering but, the cops aren't allowed to chase you on dirt bikes and 4 wheelers right?...because of too many accidents or the risk of an accident and stuff. If I'm right I'm hittin the big roads. :YEAH

 

i had a lame motorcycle cop chase me, and i was in the grass too. i was practicing wheelies, in the dirt off the side of a road, so i turn to go back to where all my fiddy friends were, and he was behind, so i look, and his lights are off, so i pin it...not even thinkin about him chasing me. i didnt even hear him until i shut it down. long story short, he let me go, but said it was a felony, that i ran...even tho i was in the dirt

 

when i had my hooked up 400ex i ran all the time the best 1 i can remeber was we got chased down this like 1/2-3/4 mile road and there were trails along both sides off it so my buddy looks at me and points up to like throw up a wheely just to **** him off more so were like wide open about 65-70 like just about limiter runnin from the dude in wheelys then i drifted to the other lane and off the side of the road in like a field section he didnt like tha to much hangin it down the wrong side so like for the next 3 months all the trails were blocked and cops like every were was alot of fun at the time look sweet and all but after words not really worth it could ride for like 3 months cuz all the trails were watched and every singel cop was lookin for us and new us but it caught up in the winter riddin the lakes he just yeld at us cuz he was off and had no proof

I havent had to make that decision yet, but if it came down to it, yeah, I'd run. Hell, I'd be going to jail anyway, why not?

 

Kid....you're 15....running from the cops on a sportbike.....and you crashed at 110, hit a curb no less, and you are fine.

Ok, a lot of you guys got phucked because the guy you were running with got caught and narked, or stopped and narked. Sorry, but you all ride with some dumb *** mother****ers. How about this....If you stop and the cop asks who your buddy who didn't puss out like you is......wait for it......here it comes......SAY YOU DON"T ****IN KNOW THE GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus, see, this is why I primarily ride alone, too many stupid *** people in the world. I'd tell the pesky porker that I don't know the kid, I was riding and he just joined up with me on the road. If the cops says BS, just say, "Dude, it isn't BS. The kid met up with me about 5 minutes ago, we just started riding together to be more easily seen. I don't have a clue who he was, and threats aren't going to make me suddenly have a surge of ESP."
