what up everyone? i am deciding on a cage and don't know which one too choose. wanna prolly go with the 905 or the powers. i like the design but i don't know much about either. any help?

 

I have a FI cage and it does the job fairly good...except for that botched slow wheelie that cost me my motor mount....i hear that those 905 cages like to let the bike roll over due to not having the extended frame slider and that tends to break clip-ons.....everyone bitches about which cages are the best and which one not to buy.....this topic has been brought up sooooo many times that its almost gettin old cuz no one can ever seem to reach an agreement.....the bottom line is they all work well and they will pay for themselves the first few times you tip over but if you crash hard they all will fail eventually....and thats all i have to say about that.

 

If you are not shure on what cage U want, build you own!!! It's alot cheaper!!

sorry im new and this might sound dum. but where does a cage go. do u get to keep your fairing?? or does it go underneath??

 

What would you need to fab up ur own? A tube bender or something? What type of metal do they use? Im guessing i could buy the metal at a local metal shop?
