Cool Help with SPrOcKeT SiZe!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a 03 GIXXER 1000 and I have been doing wheelies, endos(about 150 feet) not a world record but at least i'm making progress, and burnouts(s's,circles) I am still running stock sprockets. I want to learn slow circles and start parking highchairs. What do you guys think I should run sprocket wise front and rear. Help me out. I've been bustin my azz just like everyone else and my stock setup isn't working. Thanks!!!

BE SAFE; WEAR YOUR GEAR!!!!!!!!!!

PEACE

If you want to keep your stock chain you can go with a 2down/3up. That's what I started with. Then I went to a 8up with the 2down, I liked that alot better. Now I'm just 20up, it rocks, but isn't necesary.

1000's are really high geared to start with so going alot isn't like on a 600.

before you learn cirlces and higchair parks, work with what you got.

sprockets will not make you be able to do any trick, they will simply make the bike come up easier and faster (and will add some engine braking to the gig as well), something that is not a problem with stock gearing....

take baby steps and be well rounded instead of looking to learn the latest trick....your circles will be garbage if you cant rock a tank wheelie, combo wheelies, slow rolls, etc....

well rounded is the key....sounds like you got plenty of things to work on before you need gears....

my two pence, do what you will

but, for gearing (i overlooked the original question), i'd say go with what kyle said and go -2+3
