Help with stuntwars trailering

Ok so i was planning on going down with binder but hes wanting to leave on the 1st and take the whole week off while i need to work to get some money so i'm taking the 5-9th off. Me and my boy lee want to come down AND take our bikes. Its a 17 hour trip. I have a trailer i can borrow from my uncle but hes not gonna let me drive his durrango 17 hours let alone 17 blocks. So i'm trying to find out what would be the best/cheapest way to get our bikes down there. We thought about renting a car but you have to be 25 to rent a car but mebbe i can talk my uncle into renting it for us but i dont htink so because a rental car just got in an accident with him and its all drama so he prolly wont want me driving a rental car in his name. We thought u-haul but the gas on those things is rediculously expensive. I even though about putting a hitch on my lumina car but it will end up costing me around 150 bucks doing all the work myself at the shop i work at. Anyone have any other idea/comments becuase i will be going no matter what but i want to take old crunchy because it will be so much better with a bike.

Sounds like to me $150 is pretty cheap compared to the other options. Besides if you really want to go, $150 aint nothin.
2 years ago I bought a 2000 Dakota just so we could go to Daytona, and that wasn't even for a stunt comp that was just so we could go ride. Oh my god my friends ARE right, I obsessed with this ****!!!

Oh well

do not rent a u-haul. i used to work for them and do some pm's, they are straight beaters that break down all the time and get horrible mileage, $150 hitch sounds like the way to go

With your budget, your car seems like your best course of action.

i'm poor but i talked to my boss and he said that he would give me a week of paid vaction so i might be able to end up taking a week off and going with terra haters but i'll have to ride my bike 5 hours to IL in winter time but **** that its ok. only problem is that there is no way my car can trail 2 bikes even if i put a hitch on it so i'm gonna try and get my boy to let me put it on his car.
