Thumbs down Ohio Stunter Found Guilty

Shawn Cripple from recklessop was found guilty and from what i heard threw the grapevine the court gave him 1-1/2 years suspended driving privilages and 1000.00 court fee. He was found gulity from some damn pics a reporter took of him this past summer and thats all it took. What do ya'll think about it? Do you think its his own fault or do you think they are just trying to make an example out of him

I ride with him almost everyday here in ohio and we went to daytona for biketoberfest with a couple of our team mates. In the pictures he was wearing a helmet and he did deny it in court but it didn't help. The paper that did the article testified against him which was pretty screwed up considering they were following him in my friends truck egging the whole thing on which is on tape from inside the truck. Gee can you say compicity? The bad part is how many of you would stop riding if your license got suspeded? They couldn't catch us before why do they think they can now. I dont run a plate sometimes anyway. We are working on a poker run or something to help pay his fine if anyone wants to get in on it let us know. It's a bit chilly for bikes here right now so cars and trucks may have to do. If they can do this from a few pictures in the paper which by the way none of them showed his plate think about what they could do from the videos so many of us have made? The starboyz all live here but yet they are not going after them and you can tell where they are in akron in all there video's. We all need to pay attention to what has happend in this case and try to make sure this doesn't start happening anywhere else. You can check out the website at www.recklessop.com and remember everyone FTP. Later Eric

What did he get found guilt of?

It sucks and I fully relate. I've gotten myself into a great amount of troulbe doing **** on my bike and when it was all over and done with, the one thing that I had to face, besides all the cost and privledge loss, was that I was guilty. I can't really point my finger at anyone that was in court or whatever. Bottom line, I was guilty, and they found me guilty, had to face the music. At the same time I've gone to court for something(s) that I didn't do. 100% innocent beyond a reasonable doubt, had cops lie on the stand under oath and been found guilty of those things too. To make it even better, the cop chases me as I walk to my car after court to tell me that he lied. Some ******' people.

HERE IS THE ARTICLE FROM THE AKRON BEACON JOURNAL

Stunt motorcyclist convicted on 10 reckless driving counts
Beacon Journal staff report

Stunt motorcyclist Shawn Cripple was convicted today of 10 counts of reckless driving.

Akron Municipal Judge Lynne Callahan fined Cripple $1,000 and suspended his driving privileges -- even for working purposes -- for 18 months.

She agreed to put off enforcing the sentence, pending an appeal.

Cripple, 28, of Tallmadge was convicted of three counts each of reckless operation, failure to maintain reasonable control and improper riding and one count of failure to display a license plate.

He and his friends practice what is known as ``extreme'' motorcycling. They were performing riding stunts -- such as riding backward and standing on their motorcycles -- on Akron-area roads and highways.

After a Beacon Journal story about the group this summer, a private airport owner offered them access to an airfield in Mahoning County.

COPS LIE!!!

I hear yea!! Dallas/ Ft. Worth area sub. citys have all put in place a zero tollerance policy!! Check out our video for our RIDE ON CARROLLTON....We had over 400+ Bikes doing a little drive bye protest about them closing off one of our practice spots......Well they catch you stunting in the Dallas area big ticket. If you run, the will come to your house later on and you and your bike are history......Its now a felony if you run in the State of Texas...

Stay Stoked!

listen!!!!!!!!

No one ran from anyone....... A newspaper reporter asked him to ride so they could take pictures of him stunting..... the paper published the pics, and then the cops got pissed and charged him with the violations. The cops were not even there!!!! he was never pulled over, and never seen by the cops during the photo shoot!!! The charged him with these crimes simply by seeing a pic in the newspaper in which he never even took off his helmet!!!!!

what a load of garbage!!!!

Well, let's give them something to write home about. Our sport is growing everyday. It's going to be very difficult to beat us down.

I was given a traffic violation for riding a wheelie and the cop didn't know what to write on the ticket, so he just put: wheelie. No reckless driving or anthing like that. Just a basic rule infraction.

Everybody have fun and be careful.

They claimed they could identify him with his helmet on so our idea was to get ten of us or so and but on our leathers and helmet and let them pick him out just standing in front of them let alone on a moving motorcycle but the judge wouldn't allow it. It was more like a personal attack than a trial. They have wanted someone to go down for this around here for a while and they finally got it but right after it was in the paper I couldn't go anywhere around here without seeing someone even people on bikes I have never seen before tearing **** up on the highways. So did it stop anything? No not at all. All It did was glorify the thing they wanted to stop. Well I cant wait for spring because it's gonna be nasty up here. Oh by the way anyone coming to akron next summer dont forget the best part. All the highways around here interloop and you can run around the city nonstop without ever having to jump off the highway so I have actually never seen a successful police chase of anyone on a bike. I just cant wait for the starboyz stuntfest so we can all tear **** up. Later Eric

Angry son of a biscuit.......

sorry to hear about the bullshit...i hope he can find a(some) good lawyer(s) and stuff it back up theirs. i think pretty much ALL cops and such are liars... i know of(for a fact) 2cops(FROM WOODSTOCK,NY) that gave a buddy of mine like 13tickets when he never even left his house...it got dropped in the end but the one cop testified on the stand at trial that they "saw mr benson in the car" when in fact it was me!!!!! i look nothing like mr benson and how could they tell at 4:30am going opposite directions??? i think they were just mad cause i smoked them in a 1983 ford escort!!!! they just recognized the car(they never even came close to me) and ,since they had busted my friend for **** one time, figured they had an easy bust....uggghhhh!!!-scumbags
