i bought a hindle can for my gix and it came with no strap- went down to the hardware store and got a 3/4" strip of aluminum maybe 1/8 thick. worked it into shape fairly easily with a rubber mallet and it looks clean as hell, cleaner than the normal strap and cost a buck fidy
