Stunt Comp Catagories

At LSBB I had the Opp. to sit in the crowd while the pros competed in all of their events, and this is what I noticed.

1* Team Freestyle-------------
2* Individual Freestyle----------
3* Sickest Trick-------------------------Top 5 go on to finals
4* Burnout Session--------------
5* Longest Endo---------------

1,2, & 4 had the crowd on the fence during the entire event.
3 & 5 After a couple of people went, they got bored and went to do something else. I'm not trying to re-write the guide lines if you will, I'm just trying to give suggestions and facts from the other side of the fence.

I think these 3 events really bring out the best in people rather than just obsessing over one thing. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the others but that's not the info that everyone seems to be searching for

What do you guys think? Would just these 3 events keep things flowing smoothly and leave people wanting more or should there be 5, 6, 7 different events? Just seems to me that when you leave them wanting more, people are more appt to come back?

I think those 3 events would make for a perfect competition. Those three categories have always been the crowds favorite, but for some reason a lot of promoters like to exclude the team event. The team event is a tricky one, because it is not too often the entire team will be able to participate unless it is a local competition. However, even if solo riders got together to form a 4-5 man team I think it would still be in the best interest to have it in order to help keep the spectators interested. If it was judged properly it would still be a great event for the teams as well as the spectators.

The team and indv. freestyle events are definately the crowd pleasers. Only people who are really interested like the long stoppies. If the contest is organized well I think the turnout of spectators will stay. It all depends on the promoters and who is involved in the contest. The sport is taking off and I hope it will not dwindle cause of bad shows put on by shady promoters and judges.

Not to be annoying or anything, but what is the exact definition of freestyle?
