How many of you stunters can also kneedrag?
I've ridden a bike for about 15 years on and off except for the last 3. I used to be into dragracing till I got the stunting bug. Still do it occasionaly but my Busa got less than a 1000 miles this whole year. I only wanna ride the 1000 now.
As far as corners go there aren't really any around here so I wasn't into them. But a friend and I took a trip to Deals Gap a couple months ago and had a blast. I plan on making the trip a couple times next year and scrapin' it up some more.
Still gotta go with stunting 99% of the time. It's like an addiction that I can't kick!

i do both although i have to disagree with most here and say i love racing quite a bit more than stuntriding....to me, stunting is kind of easy (or it comes more easily to me), once you got the basics, it is just perfecting and adding on new moves-if you can do a sloooow wheelie then you can do a one hander, you can do a no throttle hand, if you can do that, you can do no hands. see?
racing is much more of a challenge and that is what it is all about FOR ME-the challenge of increasing my control over the bike versus the bike controlling me-whether it be whillys or corners.
there is nothing like the thrill (speed helps) of nailing a track for all it's worth and using the bike as close to it's full intended potential as possible.
Check out the 2003 season of F-USA/XSBA and you will see just what a 'stunter' can do on the track, or from another perspective, just what a racer can do in the freestyle!!!
and kyle: yes, i like to jump bikes and light them on fire-i'm sure chauncey could share some good stories our maine experiences!!!

It has briefly been mentioned that I may to the team challenge with Troy Green, one of our local fast guy, runs some AMA, etc. Also talked a bit with Crazy Dan about going to the events together, he does XSBA, I race.

as for stunters
whats the definition of a stunter?? is there a qualification now?? if every1 who wheelies a 'stunter'??
as for a new rider to get on a bike, it would b harder to drag tail
but i'd hope any1 who can scrape can drag knee
but....like teach said, racing is a different story

as long as im on a bike
i gotta say i love and do(to an extent) both... i was wheeling the 1st day on the street-and the 7+yrs in the dirt before. i have also ridden with some very experienced knee draggers and after a yr or 2 on the street i cant ever recall a problem keeping up.. i love em both but i dont think theres anything like letting it down at 120... i just cant wait to do a highchair wheelie this spring..........:-)
