what bout just puttin teflon tape under the lever perches, then just leave em a little under tightened, not loose, that's what mx racers do, it works for me

I don't get it. Can you be more specific? Do you mean wrap the lever back up with tape?

That sucks. Wrecking is all part of it though, wish it was not. Definately cut the brake lever and cluch lever so the bar end will hit without costing you $15 a pop. Having longer made sliders will also save the stator cover. Keep safe. donuts are bad ***. good luck.
