'03 Gixxer1k riders..........

How much better are the new bikes compared to the other style bike? Is it any easier to stunt? I'm about to get a 750 and want to know if the new one is worth paying 9K or should I just go with an older one. Are the frames and subframes any stronger?
The tanks look more rounded on the new ones, does that affect tank stunts or is it all the same when they're bashed in?

Does anyone know if the 01-03 fairings (or atleast the upper fairing) can be modified to fit the new models? I love the powder coated frame but the new upper fairing and tail section suck.

I know for sure that the upper fairing stays are completely different mounting....I was thinking the same.

Guys are we talking about the 03's or the 04's. I believe that the 03 600 & 750 are the same. They are changing the 04's to look like the 03 1000. Then the body styles will be different but may still bolt up. I will check at work tomorrow if I think about it. .

i stunt an 03 1000. I like it. I love the nut it's got. I went 1- 10+, justy pop the throttle and it flys right up. I beat it pretty hard this summer and had no problems so far.

I don't think the stuff will interchange but the new ones are better bikes.

I love the 03. the ergos are nice compared to the 01-02. I rode one w/ -1 + 3 and I could wheelie it damn near as slow as my 02 750 when it was -1 + 11. love the big bore!

That problem only showed up on the 750s in the first production run of 2000.
