i dont think so...my boy been thru 3 929's ...
i like all the power it has for slow wheelies ..it comes up with no problem with stock sprocket but for some reason he keeps blowin the motors..maybe lack of oil.?
i dont know i'd get a gsxr ..not just because i already have 2 but i like em better..

your buddy is screwing something up if he goes through 3 929 motors....tell him to get a new hobby. mine has 17k STUNTED miles and it's running strong without a problem.

i ride a 929, oppie rides with me and has a 750 and i rode it, very nice bike but i don't like teh way the motors have the oil pickup further forward and they have a chance to lock up. seems to happena lot. i liked the feel of the 750, but i hated the fuel injection on it. it's too twitchy for me, once i snapped it up for slow stuff and got my throttle hand off, it rocked nice and easy, smooth pull and everything, but getting it thre was a challenge and if i had to make a throttle adjustment, i was all over the place.

my 929 seems to have a smoother throttle responce, easier to make smaller inputs. The brakes are sick on it too. Only thing i don't like about it is the exhaust valve part that messes with your idle.

spinderelle's on the 929 are great, i don't have a problem with the tank, the tank really isn't that small, it's just narrow were your legs go to make it feel smaller. When you dint it in, make sure you do it naturally otherwise the gas cap will stick up and stab you in the butt.

hope that helps, i tried to put in some stuff i liked/disliked about each bike, even though i ride honda for life.

Honestly ------ I've been on stuntlife for over a year, and I started with a gixxer, and now I have 4 of them. I swORE by them forever, and I still kinda do. BUT, since I got into the slow stuff on the 750, I have liked it less and less. It's still got my vote for best STREETbike hands down, but for the slow stuff, man they just aint got it right now. I rode my boy's f4i, and that joint was just SO much smoother and easier than my 750. I want one so bad now, just for slow stuff though. If you can, check out Honda, cause they do have the juice when it comes to slow stuff. The same technology went into the fuel injection sys. on the 600, and 929, ect so I can gaurentee you'll get the same results from the liter version too. But, if you're riding street ..... GSXR all the way!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, binder's right, the injection is very very twitchy, until you get it just right. My buddy tried to ride mine after getting off his 929 and didn't like it, lol. Slow stuff I want a Erion, for the rest GSXR, although I'm broke so I'll br supporting the gixxer all the way

what's special about an erion? the black frame stronger? haha, that's what i have and it's the same as a regular 929, just more expensive.

and ya, i would say slow stuff would be harder to learn on a 750 from what i've been riding on chads.

If you can't do them, you should have no reason to dent in the tank. But if your just set too, then take a rubber hammer, and take your time.

I like the ERION color schemes, lol. Don't know how you got yours set up now, lol

he's right, don't dent if if you can't do them. that's the whole reason for having it dented...for functionability...not for looks.

and i do like erion now, after i've destroyed and painted mine.

I like the 929....I like that it lugs down low w/ less gearing than the gix. I like the power, I like the stability. I hate the butterfly valve action.

I like the gix 750. it's what I learned on, I have 15k stunt miles on the f-cker. still runs like a top. 2 down 11up gearing and it rocks a little bit faster than a 929 1 down 11up.

I'd take a 929, 954, or a gix 1k over my ****.
