how do you know

How do I know if I'm good enough to compete, should I try and join some group who already competes, or should i just go to a fest and sign up as an amature for a competition and ride solo........
i have been contemplating trying to see if im competition material or not, i know there are a few groups around here, but im not sure as to how i even go about aproching that subject.....or should i just practice with a group, and wait to see if they ask me to join up with them??

just sign up and do it. the first comp i went to i got intimidated and didn't enter ****. worst mistake ever. so what if you don't win, your gonna have fun, learn alot and every entry makes the pot bigger if you do win

all you have to lose is a few bucks. Plus it might be a good opp to get advice from other riders there.

you only get better thru experience, just ride as much as you can and enter as many comps as you can. If there is an AM class, enter that to see how you do, If there is only one class then that's where you go!
