I'm pretty stoked about it. It's about time I got proper footwear. After the nasty pictures and reports on this site and others on damaged feet I decided it was time to pull the trigger and get proper footgear. Hope these are nice. They certainly look sweet. Got mine in red and black. Just hope they're comfortable too.

 

Good boots are the go mate but just dont get "race rep" ones they suck to stunt in as they are just to stiff.I have Alpinstar RS3 boots and I love them one of the best things I've got

I was kind of afraid the boots would limit mobility. But my friend loaned me his Sidi Vetebra Race boots and those have aluminum running down the side of them. They are full blown hard core race boots and I actually didn't find it to be too much of a hinderance. Gave me a lot more confidence. The lightnings are a couple steps down from those so I think I'll be ok. I'm happy that I finally have good foot protection. I took a hard hit on my foot on my last fall so I took that as a warning.
