I know this has been talked to death but i could get the answer I needed by searching so..
on a 2001-03 gixxer600
what are the top speeds for this gearing
-1 +3
-2 +3
-1 +5

Get your owners manual out and punch in the numbers this little program asks for. It will tell you the top speeds for those or any other gearing you can think of.

Well over 100mph. don'y run -2 in the front it is just not a good idea the sprocket is so small it can bind or break the chain and even your engine case. seen it happen. I take it you asked this question so you aren't revving the **** out of it on the highway. Well you shouldn't have to worry about that until you are 8-9+ teeth up in the rear. Also if you still go -2 in the front you must realize that is like going another 3 or 4 teeth up in the rear for every tooth off the front. hope this helped
