Why I think this sport is great!

heres a reply from a Dad that brought his little boy out to the premier last night! Just wanted to warm all your hearts!

quote from the kcsportbike.com message board

"I agree great party Dan, and props to you. For you who didnt get to make it you missed a chance to get to see Dan in action, I dont think he missed welcoming anyone there.

And Dan, you now have your biggest fan (if not the youngest) in my son. I couldnt beleve how you took time out of your night to make him feel special (and hooking him up with all that cool stuff). For you guys with kids it was allmost enough to make one cry. He signed a copy of the dvd, picked Caleb up for some photos, and then took him by his had and led him through the crowd up front to get some goodies. My son was up till 11:00 puting stickers on his 50, and telling his mom she should get used to calling the ambulance for him. He knows what he's going to be trying on his bike!!!!

Dan you may be CRAZY DAN, but to my family your our HERO. Wish the world had more guys like you to make it a better place."

I met Dan in Daytona and he was a cool ****!
I didn't get to talk & hang as long as I would have liked to, but just talking to him for those few minutes, you could tell what kind of guy he is.

I found him on the track, told him who I was and he remembered who I was from SL. A few days earlier I posted about wanting a DVD and wanting to get it in Daytona, anyway, he gives me the DVD that was in his hand and pointed me in the direction of his tent.
I walked down there and bought a shirt, thanks Kourtney for looking all over for my size, and was heading to my bike to leave.

Dan spotted me walking away and stopped on the fiddy and asked me if I got a shirt and some stickers...
I told him I bought a shirt and he said "C'mon, lets get you some stickers" We got back to the tent and I swear, he gave me half the roll of XMX stickers!

I know I'm rambling on like a little kid, but he was cool as hell and not the least bit uppity.
I am kinda upset now after reading that story about the little boy...He didn't pick me up for any pictures!

Again, CONGRATS to Dan on his wins and for being a REAL being!

Way to represent and show appreciation to your fans Dan. The kids are the future, if they like stunt riding, then it will happen.

I have known Dan for a few years (since my days doing rider support at LBZ) and I have to say its a pleasure to have someone represent the sport as he does. Keep up the good work! See you out here soon for the west coast premiere.

word

there we're two kids in the shop the other day talkin about wheelies and burnouts they do on their ttr90, i was skeptical but this young hispanic kid maybe 11 yr old knew what he was talking about, brake control and all. his mom proceeded to tell me it's true, him and his brother are crazy on bikes, doing 2 up burnouts and all this. so i gave her a copy of WDPIT and warned her about the female anatomy tutorial, and she was like "oh they love *****" then proceeded to say "it was funny the other day we we're watching a movie and there were **** on the screen, and the 11 yr. old said those **** are too far apart."

my point is kids amaze me. so i do my best to amaze them. i'm always hanging out and talking to them at shows. mostly cuz they appreciate what we do a lot more than any other genre of spectators.

Daniel is definitely a "people person" but when it comes to kids.....I don't know, he just has the patience for them and acts like nothing else in the whole world is more important than that little kid at that moment.....and Dirty B is right. If the kids like it now, then this sport will make it!

(not trying to ruin your "crazy'' image daniel just think people should know your sweet side)

This is something that I would expect from Dan.

I met him at the OLX show in Chicago Heights and at the time I just bought my 954 and Dan talked with me before and after the show about how the bike rides and what I should learning.

It just goes to show that even the craziest **** can be cool as F**K!!

Way to go Dan.

Sounds like a good guy. Sadly the sport is still very small right now, and those who do know about it, don't know what it's about, or they are part of the few that know what it's about. However, this isnt like down hill biking or street ludge, it's new and out of the main stream right now. Hopefully it'll make it and gain respect. Good job Dan

Well, With people treating the sport with respect and a larger degree of professionalism, along with time and patients for the next generation of stunt riders....anything can happen!
