Steering Dampers... Which one and why
Runin a Toby on my 954 right now its seems to work ok out of 20+ runs I got a little shake on one pass. I ran a Toby on my 900RR and it worked better than the 954 because the dampner itself is a bit bigger and holds more fluid. I sold my 900 but kept the dampner and I'm going to try to rig it up on the 954 and run both of them.

GPR dampners are pretty tight. They are guarenteed, Cool people to work with and I've had both Scotts and GPR and the Scotts exploded on me after after putting down a wheelie. I've used a GPR for 2yrs and not one problem. Track and Stunting. Also they come in all the Frickin colors to match the bike or what not.

i run a gpr rotary and a xtreme tech rod, my forks have no oil in them so i need two, but ive had nothing but problems with GPR's, when your on the endo too long the oil overflows and loses its stability, i talked to the owner himself about this and he said i should have bought something else, so i still run it , but only cause i was too lazy to take it off and now im too comfortable with both of them on

Which Owner told you that. We were the prototypes for the bikes and we have a guy that rides an endo pretty long & high w/ no leakage. It doesn't sound like Jeff to say something like that. If he did, then he's a punk for just pushing u aside.............thankx for the info
HOWABOUT A DAMPNER 4 A BUSA ? WHEN I STOPPIE OVER 80 MPH IT IS A LTTLE SLOPPY PROLLY GONNA KEEP THE BIKE AND BUY A STUNTER BIKE ONLY BUT NO ELSE OTHER THEN ME SEEMS TO STUNT A BUSA SO I MIGHT JUST KEEP STUNTING IT ????
what kind of damper is recomended for 2003 636 cuz after reading all these posts im kinda confused cuz everyone likes something different. i had a rod on my old gsxr 750 and wasnt to happy with it so ive been thinking about getting a scotts but the price is whats holding me back. any info.
There was a similar post like this recently and everyone there was saying the Scott damper sucks cause the tab breaks. Seemed like the Toby was the favorite. I don't find the need for one now. I doubt they'll make me ride/stunt any better.
put scotts on all my bikes including my dirt bikes and both my street bikes... i had aa aftermarket rod type on my old 98 gixxer 750 but once i put it on my 954 (R.I.P.) i was sold... with my gixxer 1k i kept the stock rod type and added a scotts just use the scotts on my 929.
