I rock the Scotts......I had an Ohlins first, and I kept on breaking the top mount brackets. Scotts are nice and compact, and work great! Joe

I've heard Hyperpro's are no good....they tend to have leaking problems. Hyperpro admitted that there dampers have a problem.

If you want a good piston style, get a Ohlins.

Yeah Ive pretty much narrowed it down to the Ohlins but i cant seem to find them anywhere. Everyone carries the Toby dampers but not the Ohlins.

check ebay...I got my ohlins with the mounting kit for $250 (buy it now). I think the MSRP is like 375 for my bike.

If you can't find any on ebay check out www.kneedraggers.com
they usually have good prices.

rod types work well, I had a toby (it was cheap) and it worked great until i crashed and bent the **** out of it. My buddy has the scotts on his 929 and he loves it. They are nice and compact, adjustible, and they will work on almost any bike or quad. Little pricy, but my next damper is gonna be a scotts.

GPR dampners are pretty tight. They are guarenteed, Cool people to work with and I've had both Scotts and GPR and the Scotts exploded on me after after putting down a wheelie. I've used a GPR for 2yrs and not one problem. Track and Stunting. Also they come in all the Frickin colors to match the bike or what not.

Ya, I've heard of White Power. Dig their pointy hats, but the bed sheet makes em look like a ghost on Holloween!
